These machines, for all their amazing abilities, are the wrong size. Running electric cars around underground one at a time is not an effective solution to surface transportation gridlock. In order to be profitable the cost per ride is going to need to be excessive by any account, a perk for the rich. These tunnels cannot accommodate trains on purpose; the overall goal seems to sell more Teslas. The bright side is that eventually the tunnels and machines could be repurposed to bring much needed water great distances with evaporation minimized.
