Battery Pack Testing: https://lnkd.in/ev7cgBUY At the moment a list of tests that needs expanding - please do DM me your own list of tests if you can, then I will create a list containing everything. Maybe that way we can get to something more complete. #testing #batterytesting #batteries

BatteryDesign.net takes time to keep current, add new posts, update posts and add the latest references. Then on a quiet evening it is time to check the key pages listed in the A to Z: https://lnkd.in/dwVeRTTP If you spot something missing, wrong or that you could add to then please do drop me a line. #batteries #batterytechnology #batterystorage

How Capacitors Work In a way, a capacitor is a little like a battery. Although they work in completely different ways, capacitors and batteries both store electrical energy. If you have read How Batteries Work, then you know that a battery has two terminals. Inside the battery, chemical reactions produce electrons on one terminal and the other terminal absorbs them when you create a circuit. A capacitor is much simpler than a battery, as it can't produce new electrons — it only stores them. A capacitor is so-called because it has the "capacity" to store energy. #PhoenixDelivers #storedenergy #capacitor

as you wind down for a few days off, have a think about a short post for BatteryDesign.net can be just 2 paragraphs that cover a subject, a rule of thumb or key insight into battery design from chemistry to pack #batteries #batterytechnology #battery

EV Battery testing is a complex process that includes variety of tests to assess battery performance, safety and durability. - Electrical Tests- These tests are used to measure battery performance such as capacity, voltage, current and power. - Thermal Tests- These are used to measure battery performance under different temperature conditions. - Mechanical Tests- These are used to measure battery durability under different stress conditions. -:Cycle Life Tests- These tests measure how many times a battery can be charged or discharged before the battery starts to degrade. EV battery testing is typically performed in closed environment using specialised equipments. #electricvehicles #batteryok #batteries

When you design a battery pack you need a really good understanding of the system: https://lnkd.in/em63s6Fz Please do contribute your particular project that shows system level engineering and battery design, as you can see there is a huge range of application areas. Can we cover all of them? #battery #systemsengineering #batteries

Great and simple explanation for something that could get complex.
Transformers are rated in kilovolt-amperes (kVA) because their primary function is to transform voltage levels while maintaining the apparent power (volt-amperes). Apparent power is the combination of real power (measured in kilowatts, kW) and reactive power. Motors, on the other hand, are rated in kilowatts (kW) because their primary function is to convert electrical power into mechanical power. The rating reflects the actual power consumed by the motor to perform work, which is the real power. In summary, transformers deal with the transformation of voltage and maintain apparent power, while motors convert electrical power into mechanical power, and their rating reflects the real power consumed.

Powertrain Development in ICE and EV Vehicles
2moHi Nigel Taylor…. I can do perform the most of the which it is mentioned in the link and also i have done those trials in battery pack level also.
