Kent Further Education will be touring Kent & Medway on their Skills Bus from 5th February to 15th March showcasing the three exciting new projects being made possible by the Local Skills Improvement Fund (LSIF). North Kent College Engineering & Manufacturing Project: This project will increase the capacity and capability of the Regions Further Education providers to support employers to train their existing and future workforce in higher technical and digital skills needed by modern manufacturing businesses. EKC Group Health and Care Project: Focusing on Digital skills and innovation in Health and Care: a trailblazing project to attract new entrants to the workforce, increase the digital skills of the sector, and support the sector to develop innovative applications of care technologies to provide efficient and tailored health and care solutions. MidKent College Retrofit Project: Net Zero Construction Skills Centre being built: Bridging Industry Gaps, developing domestic retrofit skills and Embracing New Technologies. We will be out and about around the County over the next few weeks on board the Kent and Medway Skills bus, promoting three new projects that are being delivered by North Kent College, Mid Kent College and East Kent College. All of these are funded by the Local Skills Improvement Fund (LSIF). The bus will be on the road from Monday 5 February to Friday 15 March and is being manned by staff from each College on different days and at different locations. There will be the chance to find out about these innovative new projects and talk to staff about studying at your local college.
