💢 SCIATICA Pain radiating along the sciatic nerve, which runs down one or both legs from the lower back. Treatment for sciatica pain will almost always involve a controlled, progressive exercise program. The exercise treatment helps address, resolve, and prevent recurrences of the underlying cause of pain. Targeted sciatica exercises serve the following main purposes: 1. Reduce acute sciatic nerve pain 2. Improve leg mobility and range of motion 3. Promote soft tissue healing 4. Improve sciatic nerve function 5. Provide muscle and soft tissue conditioning 6. Prevent, or at least minimize, recurrence of pain To be effective, therapeutic exercises must be done regularly and as prescribed, using the specific form and program. Close attention to exercise posture and body mechanics is a challenge but is essential for the exercises to be effective. #PranavanArun #DoctorSiddha #Sciatica

⚡️SCIATICA⚡️ Sciatica is a condition that involves pain, numbness, or weakness in the lower back, buttocks, and legs. It's caused by the compression or irritation of the sciatic nerve, which is the largest nerve in the body. Tight and weak muscles in the glutes and lower back can contribute to sciatica by creating imbalances in the body that put pressure on the sciatic nerve. Tight muscles can pull on the nerve, while weak muscles can't provide enough support to keep it in place. Can a Herniated Disc Cause Hamstring pain? Yes, a herniated disc can cause hamstring pain. When the soft inner material of a disc protrudes or leaks out through a tear in the tough outer layer, it can irritate nearby nerves in the spine. Depending on the location of the herniated disc, the affected nerves may radiate pain down the back of the leg, commonly referred to as sciatica. This pain can extend into the hamstring muscle, causing discomfort, weakness, and sometimes numbness or tingling. It's essential to address the underlying herniation to alleviate both the back and hamstring pain effectively. #HerniatedDisc #HamstringPain #Sciatica #BackHealth #PainManagement
