This is an amazing step towards improving the huge waste and pollution associated with batteries, which we need as the world moves towards electrification to meet our climate goals. The implications of 👇: - Battery life is extended, enabling us to use them for a longer period of time in applications like electric vehicles (EVs) in its 1st life - Due to longer battery life, we can repurpose them after they are unsuitable for EV use to other applications like grid and residential energy storage systems in their 2nd life - Reliable and safe usage even in high temperatures - this is especially important for electrification in South and Southeast Asia as our region heats up
