NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Post

Excited to see this fantastic, innovative work being done by PHIG!

The Indiana Department of Health was able to train 160 new food inspectors with funding from CDC’s Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG)! This will result in safer food practices and the prevention of possible foodborne disease outbreaks like salmonella in restaurants, cafeterias, food trucks and more across the state.
