After much contemplation, I'm thrilled to share that this Sunday, on December 31st, I'll be embarking on a new chapter. Hi, I'm Ariana, and as part of a relocation program, I'm excited to announce my move to Cincinnati, OH as a Mexico Account Representative at TQL. You might be wondering, "Why relocate far from family?" Well, I suffer from a unique condition – a relentless pursuit of opportunity (O bueno, mi familia dijera que soy muy inventora). Originating from a place where opportunities were scarce, I found myself dreaming of days like today. Growing up in a survival environment fueled my determination to seize any chance before me. "Why Cincinnati?" you might ask. It's a leap out of my comfort zone, a quest for personal growth, a chance to exchange cultures, and a commitment to becoming the best version of myself. While I cherish my family, this journey is about my self-discovery and professional success. (Also HQ has a Gym)😏. Am I scared? Absolutely. Am I excited? Without a doubt. The unknown is intimidating, yet it promises diverse experiences and endless learning. Moving from San Antonio to a city where only 4% of the population is Hispanic is a significant change, but it's the kind of challenge that fuels my excitement. As for the timing – why December 31st? Because why wait for tomorrow when today holds the promise of a new beginning. Also, let's not ignore the practicality of holiday discounts on tickets!🥹 This move is my way of embracing a new era and taking calculated risks. Stay tuned for updates on my Cincinnati journey. I might even share some tips for fellow newbies considering a move – lessons learned from my own adventure. Remember, take the risk. It might just lead you to extraordinary places. ❗ Do you feel you are made for more? 🌏 9 years ago, I joined Arbonne. I said YES to the business model before anything. As someone who has entrepreneurial wiring, I loved that I could run my own business helping people alongside others in a community, and have my infrastructure, marketing and website updates taken care of! ❓ Do you love connecting with others? I mean, truly listening to people? Do you want to be held accountable to look after your mind, body and skin synergy? 🌎 I chose to leave Arbonne when I had to return to my full time teaching role. Part time was not on offer to me, it still is extremely hard to find. Nearly 2 years ago I chose to return back to Arbonne following the transformational impact that the gut health programme had on my energy, my glow, my confidence and my joy! In that order. If the nutrition support made such an impact on me, maybe there are others who I could help by sharing these products? ❓ Do you want to align with a company who also gives back to the planet as well as people? Do you feel quite happy in your job but restricted to grow, create, develop and earn more? 🌍 I am 40 this year. I thank Arbonne and the community of special people for helping me to shine brighter through the most valuable self development I have ever experienced and in doing so, shine a light for others to connect to their own inner light too. I have helped others and in doing so, have also built my business to the level where it is willable. What does this mean? If I pop my clogs tomorrow, my Arbonne salary continues to be paid to my family for the rest of their lives. My children benefit from the deep and meaningful conversations I am having today. ❓ Do you feel valued? Do you feel free to reach for the stars whilst still have the time to spend with your family? Unexpected Reunions and the Value of Our Networks ✨ When asked about the benefits of life in KL I often talk positively about village-like experiences such as the one I had this morning! A red eye flight led to a reunion with a former colleague—the brilliant, supportive, resilient Michelle Pei Yee Lee FCCA To our pleasant surprise, we found out we were on the same flight! 🛫 Just a day earlier, I had an insightful conversation with another former colleague about the nature of professional relationships once our time at a company ends. We realized that our colleagues typically fall into three categories: 1. Those with whom nothing changes, and we remain in regular contact. 2. Those who send a short note at the time. 3. Those who stay silent, revealing that our connection was limited to the workplace. Both reminded me of the immense value of nurturing our professional networks and why it's essential to keep these relationships alive even after moving on to new ventures. 🙏 Today, we stepped into a new day, new month and new quarter; may it be well with you! This weekend, my family and I celebrated and reflected on the finished work of Jesus, what that means for us and indeed, I am grateful! I also used the time reflect on my goals and gifts. This quarter, I am focused on making meaningful progress, both personally and professionally in how I work and serve. 💡 For many of the people in my circle, myself included, Q1 was challenging; many things did not go according to plan! 👏🏾This weekend was particularly encouraging as I was reminded that how we started and where we are are not as important as how we choose to move forward. I'm praying that this month and quarter will be filled with purpose, progress, and you will make profound impact.
