Great insights from Jonathan Shaw, Ph.D., senior vice president, Solutions for Optum Home & Community, on why it's important to meet older adults where they are on their care journey.
The last two decades of my health care career have boiled down to one mission: finding ways to help older adults receive care at home for as long as possible. Read my recent article on the importance of focusing on patients' needs when and where they need it. https://optum.co/hmsrti
Agree I think circle is complete! Treating patients at home when possible will be the new norm as communication and delivery of care is much more robust and advance. Clearly Post Covid era for medicine will be the milestone and a turning point for home diagnosis and delivery of medical care.

1wAs an older adult what is the age are you referring to 60 and up. Or is it 70s and up. Because I have found it is almost impossible to be treated in a repaectful way.
