Personally, I feel the A321XLR is the most exciting aircraft developed in the last 20 years. The combination of route/mission versatility, range, cabin comfort, lower operating costs, crew optimisation, aircraft utilisation rate & lower training costs are game changing for airlines. There are so many benefits to carriers operating this aircraft in their fleet, especially in terms of long-thin routes and those that require frequency over capacity. Being based in London, I can imagine a carrier like British Airways using it for premium short haul routes in Europe combined with rotations to smaller airports on the east coast of America. Same can be said for the likes of Aer Lingus wishing to operate point to point services. It’s also a great fit in the fleet of such airlines as they can up or down gauge aircraft depending on seasonality and demand. This aircraft provides airlines with so much versatility and also offers them the chance to offer a more premium business class product on short haul routes, a great taster for anyone that has never flown in a long haul business class cabin. Great job Airbus Aircraft! I can’t wait to fly on it! ✈️
With more than 550 orders from over 25 customers, why is the #A321XLR so attractive? ✈️ Find out how this single-aisle aircraft perfectly complements long-haul operations with its incredible range, efficiency and superior #Airspace comfort cabin, fitted as standard 👉 https://lnkd.in/e6mXFAn8 The world is a beautiful place and the A321XLR will take you there! 🌎

I'm an aviation enthusiast|| Aeronautics storyteller|| RC plane modeller|| Airplane reviewer || Future avionics technologist || DM let's discuss
Have you heard??? The Airbus A330neo, which borrows several technologies from the A350, will soon have the option for dimmable windows. Electronically dimmable windows were first used in commercial aviation on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner for a number of years, until Airbus debuted the new feature on the A350. Dimmable window option for A330neo Dimmable windows have been met with mixed reviews from travelers worldwide, but the European manufacturer plans to offer the feature on the A330neo beginning in 2027. Plans for the new cabin feature were unveiled by Airbus at the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2024 in Hamburg, Germany. #aviationlovers #airbus

Bluebox Aviation Systems and Jazeera Airways recently renewed their six-year partnership for the delivery of the Blueview IFE experience called Jazeera Screens. Jazeera Screens provides in-flight entertainment options to passengers on their personal devices. This is done over a Bluebox Wow wireless network on board the airline’s Airbus A320 fleet. The multi-year renewal also saw the expansion of fleet coverage, in a flexible arrangement in which Bluebox provides additional Wow units for new and leased aircraft entering the fleet, which now stands at 23 aircraft. There is also flexibility built in, with Jazeera being an all-Airbus fleet, to incorporate Airspace Link deployment of Blueview should Jazeera select this option on new aircraft in future. Is the A350 really the pinnacle of aviation? ✈️ Here in the QAC office, you’re probably not surprised to hear we are a bunch of self-proclaimed aviation geeks, which as you can imagine often leads to discussions (arguments?🤨) about the good, the bad and the ugly across the industry. One of our more recent discussions landed on the Airbus A350 and whether or not it really is unsurpassed in terms of performance, avionics and cockpit technology, reliability and improved sustainability. What do you think? We’d love you to be a part of our conversation – what aspects of the A350 do you find great (or not so)? Share your thoughts below👇 #aviationlovers #airbus #a350 #qaconline

A top Airbus official said the quiet part out loud - their plan is to bring pilotless aircraft to the market, downplaying safety risks and showing unwarranted confidence in technology and automation. #Pilots know, as no other, that technology, no matter how sophisticated, fails. This is one of the many reasons why there are two on the flight deck at all times. #2pilots are integral to the functionality of a safe flight and are the backup, bridging technology gaps, adapting in real-time to unforeseen situations, and ensuring aviation safety. Profit & commercial incentives are a risky driver for innovation. Take action: visit www.safetystartswith2.com and reach out to IALPAand your colleagues to support the campaign against eMCO. #SafetyStartsWith2 #AviationSafety #EASA European Pilots Air Line Pilots Association https://lnkd.in/eKV_FhHh
