Offers flexibility for different learning styles. Provides a wide range of educational resources. Promotes collaboration and global citizenship. Supports continuous professional development for teachers. Challenges of Online Learning: Requires digital infrastructure and internet access. Necessitates digital literacy. Conclusion: World Teachers' Day celebrates ASEAN educators. Good teachers shape the region's future. Online learning complements traditional education for a dynamic future.

As promised, we are anticipating an exciting Children's Day celebration in Ibadan. Come the 24th of May 2024, high school students will be debating the topic; 'Has the Internet done more harm than good?' Our goal: 1. To gain insight into one of the rising worries of internet usage by teenagers and its ability to influence and pressure them into vices given its advantages. This inter-school debate would see students from different schools argue for and against as the case may be. 2. To promote problem-solving and innovative thinking among the students. 3. To bring to notice societal issues affecting many students and proffering possible solutions to such issues. 4. To encourage teamwork and collaboration among the students. 5. To have successfully conducted an inter-school debate, helping the students to see the power of deploying rational arguments, constructive criticisms and compelling evidence in action. Block Solutions Indonesia is pleased to support Classroom of Hope and Happy Hearts Indonesia's program in rebuilding schools across Indonesia, in particular those that were affected by the natural disasters such as the 2018 Lombok earthquakes, or those that are in moderate and major damage conditions. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics of Indonesia 2023 report, a staggering 8.7% of 148,975 elementary schools, 5.57% of 41,986 middle/junior high schools, and 4.26% of 14,236 senior high schools across Indonesia are in major damage condition. Additionally, 44.74%, 38.26%, and 29.45% respectively are in moderate damage. There's still much work to be done, and we're committed to making a difference – together. 🌟 #Education #RebuildingIndonesia #Partnership

On Children’s Day, I discussed the pressing issues facing Nigerian children on Channels TV. The conversation delved into the 2013 National Policy on Education, highlighting the gap between policy formulation and implementation. One of the critical challenges is ensuring that basic needs, like nutrition, are met before meaningful learning can occur. With 20 million Nigerian children out of school, the scale of the problem is immense. Our discussion covered the importance of addressing these foundational issues, such as providing proper training for teachers, securing adequate funding, and ensuring the overall health of children. These are essential steps in creating an environment where education can truly thrive. You know you made a difference in somebody's life when they give you a chicken! I was talking about Projet Jeune Leader's model today as I reflected on a recent study which found youth engagement is higher in youth-led organizations. These quotes demonstrate the value of training near-peers to deliver important services to young people, and what I love about PJL is that they intentionally invest in career pathwaying for their young educators to "age up" within the organization and more broadly within the health, education, and development sectors.
