About 5 years ago I decided to end my chapter as an entrepreneur. It wasn't an easy decision to make. The freedom to create can be intoxicating when you're your own boss. Opportunities are limitless, and the flow of ideas seems to never end. It took me quite some time to figure out what exactly I wanted to do next. It's only when I started working at product marketing that I found the answer. That I can trade being an entrepreneur into being an intrapreneur. That I can create, initiate, motivate, and inspire within an organization. That working with product, customers, business, and marketing is not so different than being a start up founder. * Does your mind constantly flood you with ideas? * Do you love creating solutions as much as you enjoy diving into problems? * Are you a strategic thinker who's capable of executing their plans? * Do you love the sports business? If you found yourself constantly screaming YES while reading a Linkedin post, then check out the open position below. I'm looking for a product marketing manager to join our growing product marketing team in WSC Sports' NY office. https://lnkd.in/dRD4WNWR #productmarketing #pmm #hiring

Fractional Head of Content | I help B2B SaaS brands create organic acquisition strategy that drives results @GrowthMentor | Ex-Head of Marketing @Piktochart
This one term keeps popping up everywhere. But, what does it really mean? I’m talking about: "Fractional". Fractional CMO. Fractional Head of Content. Fractional Dog Walker (ok, this is made up) While some startups run their entire operations with fractional help, others don’t know what it is. So, what is it? Fractional talent = experienced (mid-senior) subject experts who work with companies flexibly on a part-time basis. When it’s a interesting option to consider hiring a fractional talent: ▶ You don’t really need someone FT to do the job ▶ You want to save money (and avoid costs coming with hiring FT) ▶ You need a proven expertise and strategic leadership ▶ You consider FT a risk for employee turnover or incompetence ▶ When you’re in early growth stages and need to find channel-market fit faster Why people are becoming a fractional “something”: 🟢 They are tired of the pressure and responsibility that come with the job description (more if it’s a C-level) 🟢 They might have burned out in such a role in the past 🟢 They want more flexibility and to possibly work on other/side-projects 🟢 They crave higher project diversity to learn and thrive 🟢 They’ve been there, done that, they just want to help implement what they’ve learned without the full package that comes with a FT position Are you hiring fractional talent? When do you think it’s NOT the best situation to hire one? ____________ I’m Marta and I’m a Fractional Head of Content. I help SaaS companies implement and scale organic growth strategy that brings traffic, leads, and product signups. Free slot from September 2024.

Loved reading about what Lucky Saint | B Corp™ founder Luke Boase thinks about hiring the right team. Since launching back in 2018, they've gone from strength to strength, receiving record breaking funding, and achieving B-Corp status. (Not to mention being the 'official sponsor' of dry Jan) When asked what makes a good leader, he says: "Broadly, it’s about knowing your strengths and weaknesses, then building the right team around you. I’ve got the core ideas, but as the business evolves it’s important I have new expertise available to me, to help me build on them." I love this no-ego approach to building brilliant teams. Bringing individuals into your team, either full time, fractionally or just advisory, helps to scale your business efforts. Especially with marketing as the focus, a variance of opinion is absolutely vital to reach the customers you're looking for. #marketing #freelance #teamstructure

Passionate about all things B2B marketing. I work with Global leaders to grow their marketing teams and smash their goals!
Interesting discussion with a founding CEO of a start-up who was hiring a marketing leader for his business. We were discussing the right person and cultural fit. I asked what type of personality do you work well with, and he said - personality is nothing to do with cultural fit. I personally disagree - do you? #hiring #marketingrecruitment #techstartup #marketingleaders

This was me in the hotel room last night, writing a post to hire a passionate full-time performance marketer. It was 4am in Melbourne, Australia. Entrepreneurship and growing a small business in a world full of giants is a big battle. We’re always looking left, right and behind our shoulders because competition and threat is never too far away. That’s the adrenaline surging that keeps us awake for 18 hours a day. If you’re keen on building a journey together with Dododots, drop me a DM. More information in my previous post. #hiring #marketing #ecommerce

In today’s competitive business landscape, service-based companies face unique challenges, from generating leads to converting those leads into loyal clients. One crucial aspect of overcoming these challenges is effective marketing. But hiring a full-time Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is often not feasible for small to medium-sized enterprises due to budget constraints or the inability to offer full-time employment for such a role. This is where a Fractional CMO comes in as a game-changer. #fractionalexecutive #fractionalcmo #fractionalleadership #digitalmarketing #digitaladvertisingagency
