The word "competition" may initially make some students shudder. However, competitions can foster a positive and dynamic learning experience in the classroom! Competitions are a great way to increase student engagement and develop entrepreneurial skills. Whether or not students become entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial competitions like elevator pitch challenges help students develop workforce readiness skills and a mindset for 21st century careers. With competitions, kids get the chance to practice setting goals and collaborate with others in real-world situations in a FUN and EXCITING way.
