FELLAS, FELLAS, FELLAS….. Listen up 🦻 It's not uncommon to feel the weight of expectations, especially when it comes to matching your partner's level of ambition. I get it. There's this unspoken pressure to redirect her focus onto you and the kids, right? But, here's the twist – constantly reminding her to be more present, or be with the kids or you, might be more unattractive than you think. (think about how annoying those kids of yours are when they whine…yeah pretty much the same concept) Instead of piling on the pressure, let's flip the script. Take a moment to appreciate all the incredible things she does for the family. Female brains have this quirky way of sticking to the negatives like Velcro while letting the positives slide off like Teflon. Sucks right? But also, let that sink in a little bit. What do we do? What is it going to take to break the addiction of the cell phone? How many more lives need to be lost? What is the magic number? Today, over a dozen people will not make it back home, won't be able to complain about a "Monday", won't have the opportunity to see their family or co-workers again. How many Summers will be ruined by someone focusing on their cell phone instead of the road ahead? What will it take for you to put down your phone? What will it take for a commercial fleet manager to take a proactive step to eliminate the #1 distraction from the cab of a commercial truck or vehicle? How many preventable crashes have to occur before someone puts their foot down and makes a decision to end this senseless preventable act? Who is going to be the leader?
