Great job today, Zack, in pushing the industry boundaries on how we understand operational losses that help us understand project performance and feedback to development.
We’re delighted to share that Zack Irons, Senior Manager of Operational Meteorology at Pattern Energy, will be a member of the Performance and Data panel at the American Clean Power Association (ACP) Resource and Technology Conference. The panel will focus on the importance of consistency and standardization of the language used to assess renewable energy plant performance, and Zack will be presenting a case study and discussing the move toward standardization and other trends within the industry to increase confidence and minimize uncertainty. With over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, Zack is well positioned to lead the field forward. He has conducted resource evaluations, operational assessments, and power performance monitoring internationally on over 10,000 MW of successfully completed and operating assets. His current focus includes the integration of seasonal and sub-seasonal forecasting in energy trading, transmission sharing, and financial market interactions. #PatternEnergy #PatternPeople #AmericanCleanPower
