Happy Halloween! Team leaders who "TREAT" their team with TRUST improve performance, achieve exceptional results and engage employees to grow & be aligned with company culture and initiatives. During these challenging times, companies more than ever need strong cultures built with a foundation of trust. Here are 7 ways you can TREAT your team with TRUST: 1. Model trustworthy behavior. 2. Trust your team. 3. Ensure your team understands its charter - why it exists - and what it is expected to produce. 4. Define team agreements and keep them alive for the team. 5. Be as transparent as you can. 6. Be clear on how team decisions will be made. 7. Address issues quickly. ** Adapted from Charles Feltman's, "The Thin Book of Trust"

The Mid-Year Check-In: Why It’s Crucial for Team Success I recently spoke with a senior leader who admitted, "I know how individuals on the team are doing, but I haven't really considered the team as a whole since our offsite in January!" Sound familiar? This "set and forget" approach to team development is common but problematic. Setting goals at the beginning of the year and hoping for the best is not enough. As we approach the halfway mark of 2024, it's an excellent time for leaders to step back and assess how their teams are progressing. Mid-year check-ins are not just for individuals; they are a valuable opportunity to ensure everyone is aligned, team cohesion is strong, and the team is on track to achieve superb results. Keen to know more? Dust off that team charter and discover key elements to review at mid-year. https://lnkd.in/dDYDMC7d
