🎉 We were absolutely delighted that Baccata sponsored the LEAP 2023 - Leadership and Entrepreneurship Accelerator Programme! As a company, we firmly believe in nurturing leadership skills from a young age because, let's be honest, this generation is the future! The LEAP programme is designed to develop business, entrepreneurial, and leadership skills by launching social enterprise projects that target key global issues. It provides a unique platform for the students to not only learn but also actively contribute to making a positive impact on the world. The event was a tremendous success, being the largest one so far, with a total of 80 students attending. What was even more impressive was that there were 40 international students from diverse countries including Australia, Japan, China, Taiwan, India, Rwanda, Tanzania, Austria, UK, Canada, USA, and Guernsey! 🌍 One of the aspects that made us truly proud was the inclusivity of the programme. A whopping 80% of the students were on some form of scholarship, which allowed them to participate and grow their potential without financial barriers. 🌟 Moreover, we were absolutely delighted that 93% of Jersey students had the opportunity to attend the programme for free! Baccata Director, Aine O’Reilly, had the privilege of being a Dragon for a day as the students pitched their inspiring projects to the Dens. The energy, enthusiasm, and fresh perspectives of the students provided participants with valuable lessons - embracing new ideas and fearlessly pursuing goals. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Jersey College CI (JCG) and all the participants, organisers, and sponsors who made LEAP 2023 such a resounding success. Together, we built a brighter future and empowered the leaders and entrepreneurs of tomorrow! 🌟 #LEAP2023 #Leadership #Entrepreneurship #FutureLeaders
