Power Generation Engineer | Mechanical Engineer | Acoustic Consultant | specialised in Plant O&M, HSE, Technical Specs, R&D, Procurement, Acoustic and Design | B.Sc First Class Honours | MIEAust, ECSL, IESL
If our jobs don't challenge us, are we truly tapping into our full potential? No, unless you have tons of personal problems. From my perspective, I believe as the Shift In Charge Engineer responsible for nearly 15% of the country's peak energy demand I was able to trigger my full potential. The way you know it is it will feel daunting at first . Too much pressure that will question your abilities. but through practice, continuous learning, and embracing challenges, it will eventually become second nature. The journey of learning, failing, and ultimately succeeding has shaped anyone ability to handle immense pressure at work. As an O&M Engineer, I've had the privilege of starting up and shutting down 2 gas turbines, 2 Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and a steam turbine in 2*2*1 configuration generating nearly 300MW, and overseeing various critical systems like fuel treatment plants, water treatment plants, sea water intake system, auxiliary Boiler, instrument air system and more. The experience of troubleshooting and leading teams through these complex processes has been invaluable. Can you guess the workload per day? Continuous growth and adaptation are key to unleashing our capabilities. #Engineering #ProfessionalGrowth #ChallengeYourself #Jobopportunites #job #opentowork
