I find it fascinating how 'under the radar' the @Baird Center expansion has been relative to the potential impact it has on our region. Kudos to Hunter Turpin for this great coverage and comprehensive overview of the convention center's potential impact on the region, challenges and opportunities it faces, and ultimately what it can mean for #MKE.

New Orleans is a city where culture runs deep and the energy of the crowd is as vibrant as its rich history. 🎺✨ Our own Rich Vallaster III, CEM, DES brought back not just beignets and blues but invaluable insights from the @NSBA Conference for Public Education Leaders. Here are three takeaways for event professionals looking to make the most out of their host cities: 1️⃣ Destination Matters: Choose a city that beckons not just you, but also your attendees AND their families. A destination worth the travel. 2️⃣ Merge Event with Experience: Blur the lines between event spaces and city streets. Plan activities that splash the local colors into your event palette. 3️⃣ Leave a Positive Footprint: Whether through service or advocacy, ensure your event leaves a lasting positive legacy in the city. Want to catch these tips in action? 🎥 Watch Rich’s latest video for on-the-ground insights and strategies to elevate your next event! #EventProfs #IndustryInsights #EventPlanning

As we embrace the warmth and camaraderie that comes with St. Patrick's Day, I stumbled across an insightful article that delves into its historical significance and how it has evolved into the global celebration we know and love today. From the story of St. Patrick himself to the way this day fosters cultural pride and connection among the Irish diaspora, the piece offers a refreshing perspective on the importance of preserving heritage while embracing inclusivity. It also highlights how businesses and brands can thoughtfully engage with this holiday, creating authentic experiences that resonate with audiences and honor tradition. Wishing everyone a joyous and safe St. Patrick's Day! May your day be filled with good luck, laughter, and the spirit of togetherness that embodies this special occasion.
