There were a couple recent announcements and demos that, taken together could provide a window into the future of work being augmented with AI assistants. First there was the release of OpenAIs GPT-4o and some demos like the one linked below that demonstrate how fluid a conversation with GPT-4o can be. The full version of this is not yet available, missing ability to interrupt it without pushing a button, recognizing emotion and tone, etc., but already what's built into the mobile app is pretty amazing. While working out today I kept it open so I could ask some of the many questions that often come to mind, and I was blown away. This extends my workout into a brainstorming sessions by giving me access to a super smart assistant that can look things up for me. Not only that, but this assistant already knows who I am, based on previous sessions, and uses that context in our conversation. Couple with all the great announcements and demos from #MSBuild that show OpenAI technology being built into the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Teams, and you can imagine an assistant that knows every detail of your business, has access to all previous meeting notes, has a perfect memory, knows how to efficiently break out notes, and can understand tone, nuance, and be part of the live conversation. There are simple things such as asking it to break down action items, take a stab at assigning them to the appropriate people, and more, but also imagine asking it to breakdown the various sides of an ongoing debate and providing a couple options for a way forward. I could also imagine asking it to help keep a meeting on track by standing by to jump in and suggest off topic items be added to a parking lot, and then just doing that for the team to keep the flow going. While I will admit the protective part of my brain is a bit worried that SkyNet is already online, I am also filled with wonderment and hope that these breakthroughs will remove a lot of blockers and mundane tasks to free up time and mental space for the more creative things humans love doing. After watching the GPT-4o demo previewed, check out link in the comments to the Copilot Teams Teaser and imagine the possibilities. #MicrosoftBuild #OpenAI #MicrosoftTeams #FutureOfWork #AIAssistants #TechTrends #WorkplaceInnovation #AIApplications #DigitalTransformation

Who would have thought... An ad in Times Square in New York City. Nice touch to mark a milestone-day for us at Templafy. Yesterday at Microsoft's HQ in Denmark, We launched the capability to ensure guardrails when it comes to your company's use of AI in business documents, presentations and emails. You get to choose what AI you want to use... Is your company working on its own LLM, or is it planning on using OpenAI? Co-Pilot being evaluated perhaps? We play along and integrate with them all. If you want to learn more about it, and want to assess if this could remove some the risk and potential nightmares you're foreseeing with the use of AI in your company's proposals, contracts, pitch decks... Well then. Give me or one of my colleagues a shout. #sayai #ai #aiassistant #templafy #managedai

OpenAI is a fantastic platform for experimenting with and learning about generative AI capabilities. However, it's not something you can easily implement within the perimeters of your company or home due to significant concerns about its "black box" nature, security, and other related issues. While it's excellent for handling generic queries and AGI-related contexts, the idea of using it with private data amidst existing and evolving concerns is a critical question. https://lnkd.in/gfQ9xRuU

An additional 34% say they have tested out OpenAI’s models but have not yet implemented them. Google came in second place, with 13% of decision-makers using its models, and an additional 50% experimenting with them. #BusinessInnovation #OpenAI #GoogleAI #Llama #ArtificialIntelligence #BusinessTrends #ModelProviders #Anthropic #TechLeaders Source: https://lnkd.in/gAryJNmC
