Key learnings from India's overall performance in the last 2 Cricket World Cup: i. Leadership & Vision: A leader who trust his team. This was evident from the statements coming from Indian Cricket team that Rahul Dravid did a great job in trusting his team and letting them play their natural game. Also, Rohit Sharma gave a fair chance to his team and did not drop anyone based on a few bad performances. He strongly believed that Virat bat will make noise in the final and it happened. ii. Team Cohesion: The last 2 World Cups clearly showed collective effort and mutual support leading to India being undefeated and becoming victorious in T20 WC and qualifying for the finals in Nov-23 WC. iii. Handling Pressure, Criticism: Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli faced lots of criticism from the public, peers but still they performed extremely well whenever it was needed. Also, despite emotional outburst & set back from the loss in Nov-23 WC, the team really took the next step in a positive manner and won all series afterwards with pride. iv. Although I'm not supporting this team in the Cricket World Cup 2023, I am amazed by their devotion, harmony, and performance as a team. Team India has been a true enigma in cricket. Things that I have learned from Team India in this World Cup: 1) Be rich, be a brand, and be an exemplar to others. You will enjoy an inevitable dominance. 2) Make your internal events so extravagant that your people do not feel extra stress during a global (external) event and stand out pretentiously. 3) No matter how the relations of your people are, be stringent in illustrating them as exemplary in front of external stakeholders. Outsiders should not know what the actual scenario is. 4) Allow your people to become well-known, but ensure discipline; team spirit comes before anything else. 5) Invite others to take part in your internal events. Yes, they will learn about you, but on the contrary, you will also understand their strengths and weaknesses. 6) When you are the host, please take advantage of the circumstances. None of the above are meant to demean the team or the country. In this tournament, they are the most practical as a team (though full of emotions).

Everyone is cheering and praising their performance now. However, this wasn't the case last year. In 2023, the Indian team faced a heartbreaking defeat in the World Cup final. Despite the disappointment, they demonstrated resilience and determination, which ultimately led them to victory this year. Even in this match, they turned the game around when the odds seemed against them till the last few overs. Although I am not a huge cricket fan, I can relate to the Indian Cricket team's spirit and take inspiration from it to motivate ourselves to push for three things to achieve our goals: 🌟 Strive for Excellence in your Role: Just like these cricketers and sportspeople who continuously hone their skills, we should strive to excel in our respective roles. 🎯 Keep your Eyes on the End Goal: The Indian team never lost sight of their ultimate goal, despite setbacks.
