Picture this: You have a customer you’ve been working with for a long time. You felt you knew the right people within the organization however, your main contact decides to retire, and your business starts to retire with them.    We have all been there and this was the subject of the presentation Marisa Pensa and I did at yesterday’s sales meeting for Airgas Northeast Region.   During our session on “The Power of Finding & Growing Relationships,” we explored the relationships each person had with an existing customer and a new customer. Marisa and I concentrated on how well-webbed (high and wide) the sales team was and whether their contacts had leverage and advocacy for Airgas. Some teams came up with new words like “Relationwebbed” or have a “Stralationship” with their customers.    This is an opportunity to discover how well-webbed you are with your top customers. A question we posed to the audience was: “If your main contact should leave the organization, will your business be in danger of leaving with them?”   When was the last time you spoke to the executive team at your top customers? Who else can you speak with to make sure the impact your company brings to the organization is recognized?   Thank you, Airgas Northeast Region, for the opportunity to work with your sales team! One week in at Arctic Wolf and I am blown away by the focus on our partners here. Every Sales Rep on our team I've spoken to has asked, "how can we work better with partners", "Here are the gaps I see, how can we address for our partners?" etc. It's a partner first, partner-led, partner only mindset. This is the way of the future (and should have been the way of the last 20 years). Your partners hold the keys to your top prospects. They know the projects, they know who else is in the customer's Near Bound Network, they understand what the customer's needs are. Arctic Wolf lives and breathes this partner-first strategy and, in my humble opinion, will be our biggest differentiator coming into our FY25. Pumped for my partners to feel the love!

TSP is expanding to Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. Of course we want to make more money... Another key factor is we know we can help a lot of people go solar correctly. Everything starts with the marketing and sales and creating proper expectations and having a strong foundation. I have a seen a lot of companies go out and sell sell sell.... then try to build an infrastructure afterwards because they have money lined up. This is the least expensive way to grow but I think that is a very irresponsible way to expand.... with thinking of keeping client first. For me- I need to know that when I am selling something I will be able to fulfill or it is extremely draining on me to try and sell something. When I fully believe in what I am selling and fully believe in the product I am delivering to the client sales is incredibly organic. Solar is an incredible product if sold correctly
