Ensure permits are obtained as necessary for prior to house construction. Liaison between division and government agencies for house permit related applications. Responsible for file management and corporate reporting under the direct supervision of forward planning and/or land development management as it relates to the division's business strategies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain Starts Calendar and Delivery Plan Slotting Tools - Work with Forward Planning Director, VP of Operations, and VP of Sales to help ensure the Division goals are met for Starts based on the Business Plan. Attend Starts/Deliveries Plan Review meetings to monitor the flow of each buyer through permitting, loan approval and house start processes. Identify potential roadblocks if goals are in jeopardy and report to the Division Management. Permit Procurement - Prepare all applications to obtain all regulatory permits/licenses and request checks to pay fees related to house permits. Assemble the permit application package for applicable counties/cities/municipal entities, including plot plans, utility permits, and building configurations. Submit permit application packages to municipalities and monitor receipt of approvals and permit issuance. Order and review all plot plans for accuracy - ensure all regulatory requirements are met as well as KB Home standards. Obtain master plan approval for plot plans when required.Forward Planning
