I’ve always been a morning person. I used to say I’d much rather the working day started at 6am but finished at 4pm. My mind is always clearer first thing. As Parkinson’s progresses, I seem to be waking earlier and earlier. Sometimes 4am. Sometimes 5am. But actually I love it. For now at least my mind is still clear first thing before the fog descends. I’m hoping this will always be the case but 1 thing I’ve learned with PD is that things change in the blink of an eye. So I will continue to marvel at the Cotswold sunrises, the couple of chapters in whatever book I’m reading, yet another @spursofficial podcast. PD is taking so much away but for once it’s given me something to cherish #parkinsons #youngonsetparkinsons #yopd
Good to see your brand of positive thinking and humour hasn’t been uprooted by your diagnosis. It’s a credit to you. I lost my wife to a brain disease four years ago - a huge challenge for the family and pure ghastliness for her. The disease was incurable and no meds seemed to help. I trust you’re getting all the support from the medics that you can and my very best wishes: I did really enjoy our time together fighting often obstinate bureaucracy and bumps in the road. Your resilience will take you far. With very best wishes Julian
Hi there! 🌟 It's wonderful to see your enthusiasm. Remember what Oscar Wilde once said, "To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all." Keep embracing life with this vigor, and you're truly living an eternal life. 💫 Keep shining!✨
Added bonus - he makes me a great coffee to start the day 🤗
