🔎 SUCCESS CASE: FEMORAL STEMS FOR THE ORTHOPEDIC IMPLANT INDUSTRY 🦵 #Femoral stems must be capable of enduring prolonged cycles of mechanical loading and resisting the corrosive impact of bodily fluids. Consequently, stringent requirements pertain to aspects like biocompatibility, safety, and efficacy. The performance of implants can also be influenced by the processes of polishing and finishing, as they directly impact fatigue and tensile strengths. 🦵 #Dry electropolishing enables the attainment of precise surface finishing for hip femoral stems. This method prevents scraping or the formation of defective parts, minimizes the need for rework, ensures high quality, preserves the laser markings on the stem's upper surface, and maintains the original machining pattern. Moreover, it allows for the effective polishing of the blind hole on the upper part of the stem. In this #successcase, we invite you to explore how a manufacturer of femoral stems successfully elevated the quality of its products. Do you guess how? SYSTEM SPOTLIGHT...Magna C IBF System The Magna C IBF System is designed as a simple, yet complete, interbody fusion system. The single tray layout and range of implants reduce operating room logistics while providing surgical options for each patient. Each implant is precision machined from either specially-formulated PEEK polymer or Titanium, which incorporates surface texturing intended to promote bone on-growth. The contoured, low-profile implant design features beveled edges for easier insertion and back-angled teeth for migration resistance. Instruments include an easily attachable Inserter that doubles as an Impactor, and a full range of trials and aggressive rasps for disc preparation. Learn more by clicking on the link below. In the 16th century, the science of prosthetics was officially developed by French surgeon Ambroise Paré. The original limb prosthetics were limited in their use, especially ones that replaced the arm or hand. These devices were made of wood, leather, or metal, and were designed to improve the user’s quality of life as much as possible. Over the centuries, technology improved to better replicate lost body parts. But prosthetics don’t just entail the use of new limbs. Something as small as a false tooth is a prosthetic, as are the heart valves that some patients rely on to stay alive. Even hearing aids and eyeglasses can be considered prosthetics. All in all, it’s a diverse field of medicine that caters to a wide variety of people and needs and continues to evolve in new and exciting ways. We’re grateful that so many options are available for patients in need. What is your favorite prosthetic? #science #life #metal #hearingaid #heartvalve #qualityoflife #limb #tooth #16thcentury #prosthetics #dynaflo

Ever wondered how prosthetic bionic arms work? 🤔 and why titanium implant ? here it is👇🏻 Titanium is highly compatible with the human body, reducing the risk of rejection or adverse reactions. Titanium is exceptionally strong, durable, and light weight making it suitable for withstanding the forces, stresses encountered in daily use and minimizing the burden on the user and enhancing comfort. Titanium is highly resistant to corrosion, ensuring longevity and reliability of the implant. Making it an excellent choice for doctors to implant a prosthetic bionic arm with sensors that detect muscle movements, allowing users to control them with precision, along with sensors it has motors that translate those signals into real-life movements, mimicking the actions of a natural arm. and also it got sensory feedback, allowing users to feel touch and pressure, making interactions more intuitive. prosthetic arms are remarkable fusion of science and innovation! #Prosthetics #Bionics #TechInnovation #FutureTech #TitaniumImplant #BiocompatibleTitanium #ImplantTechnology #OrthopedicImplant #Bioengineering #ImplantInnovation #MedicalImplants #TitaniumStrength #ImplantDurability #ProstheticTech video source : https://lnkd.in/g45st_mQ of ig
