One particular project stays etched in my memory. In the early days of my career, during the execution of the project, we decided to celebrate even the tiniest milestones – a pat on the back for a well-structured presentation and a round of applause for seamless code integration. 🙌 🎯 What ensued was truly astonishing: an upsurge of motivation, collaboration, and camaraderie that fueled our drive. 🚀✨ I still remember that the beauty of those celebrations extended beyond our team, weaving into the fabric of our organization. It fostered an atmosphere of positivity where every member felt valued and important. The journey itself became as significant as the destination, adorned with victories of all sizes. 🤗 Our collective celebrations transformed "my task" and "your task" into "our success." This simple shift in perspective amplified our problem-solving skills and invigorated our decision-making processes. 🧠🤝 Celebrating small wins doesn't require grand gestures. It's about creating a space for shared joy – be it a spontaneous office treat, a brief coffee break gathering, or a lunch outing. I’m thrilled to announce Hannah Taylor, former Co-Founder and Partner at Delta Awesome, as our new Co-CEO Talent to Team! It’s really lonely at the top. The CEO role is huge. Even though I am surrounded by incredible people and talent at Talent to Team, there are decisions and worries that are mine alone to carry. Not only does the Founder|CEO create the product or service from scratch, but they are also responsible for: - Setting and communicating the company vision. - Establishing the team and company culture. - Not running out of money. - Pathfinding (aka looking for new opportunities). There is no slack in this system. No room for me to trip and fall and to be human. So we are trying something new. A model that creates shared responsibility and accountability while reducing the potential for inadvertent harm to the team or to myself. A model that has balance, perspective, and speaks to our strengths. We are embarking on a co-leadership model, where with diligence and care, we split the CEO role in two. This matriarch goddess is my partner in every sense of the word. She softens me. She shelters me when I think the sky is falling. She keeps my team safe from my storms and uncertainties. She’s strong and soft in the most beautiful ways. I’ve had the honor of being coached by her for a year, and now I have the honor of calling her my Co-CEO. Hannah- You’re nuts. To willingly tie yourself to me in partnership… or maybe you’ve just got guts. I can’t thank you enough for taking a chance on me. For believing in me even when I’m at my worst. For helping me co-create what it means to do business in integrity. For shepherding me and our team into this next stage of growth. You were born for this. We were meant to stand at our full heights side by side. To the T2T team. Thank you for your trust and patience with me as I figure out my place. Yes, we want our company to grow. Yes, we want our teams to grow. Yes, we want to service as many companies as we can. BUT. At the end of the day, our reputation comes first. There’s no growth – at least, not sustainable growth –  if you forget your values along the way. We want to be known for providing the best creative, production, and post services in the industry, and that goes for everyone: client AND our teams. So we make damn sure never to bite off more than we can chew. Because going from a 10 to a 100 headcount isn’t impressive if your company loses sight of the vision that made it a place where people actually WANT to be in the first place.
