Foreign Affairs Minister reiterates that Canada "will be imposing sanctions on Israeli settlers. We've said it and we'll do it." Back on February 3, Canada announced sanctions would be coming against extremist Israeli settlers involved in violent attacks on Palestinian civilians in the West Bank, but no action taken yet despite sanctions imposed by the United States and the United Kingdom. I have a question for the UN and the Secretary-General of the UN, Mr. Antonio Guterres: Can you impose any sanctions on Israel, or is the UN merely going to commend its actions? This reflects a double standard within the UN.
