The Sacramento Kings and Golden 1 Center signed a marketing partnership for the 2024-25 season with Bell Wine Cellars, owned by the Berberian and Spanos Families, for their first sports partnership. During regular season home games and at Golden 1 Center concerts, Bell Wines will be promoting the Scoundrel Red Blend, a lovely blend of Cabernet sauvignon and Syrah fruit aromas. Grab a glass the next time you visit Golden 1 Center!

Strong writing can entice people to shrug at low production value.
Cape May is a state of mind but also a place and it’s a beer, too. This is from a campaign made with friends at Canales & Co. currently storming the beaches of the Jersey Shore. It's for fans of sunny days, cold beers and extended run-on sentences.

A question for you. There are so many pictures of Craft Beer on all social media platforms. But as an industry, what would you like to see across all platforms? Are photos of your beer/event or venue enough? Is there a way we can get more people interested in trying some of the fantastic Craft Beers that are on offer?

Don’t assume success… Lost Distellery enetered a hyper competitive market with a high price tag in an off the beaten path location. They engineered a lot of head winds into their go to market strategy. My guess is lots of people saw this business and assumed it was successful. If you went there on a Friday night you might have found it full. I talk to entrepreneurs all the time that presume other businesses they see are successful. And then they use that assumption as input into their own strategy. Building a GTM strategy on non-validated assumptions is dangerous. You stack them up and your business all of a sudden becomes a house of cards. Be aware of your assumptions.
Lost Spirits Distillery, a place where you could eat a 16-course meal in a submarine while watching acrobats is unfortunately walking the plank. Turns out, selling $355 dinners in a fake submarine wasn’t the gold mine it was envisioned to be, even with dragon-topped stills. LBE looking to pop up in Vegas might want to take note that even a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea-themed restaurant with its own rum distillery and Cirque-style entertainment couldn't make the cut.

What's in a tagline? The New Mexico Brew Fest has been self-touted as "New Mexico's Favorite Craft Beer Festival." Obviously, there is no way to confirm this; it's merely marketing. However, we can now confirm that it is the "Longest Running Craft Beer Festival" in the state. Not as catchy, but true. Do we switch the tagline? Do we stick with the old? Do we interchange them? Or, do we just cheers to celebrating year number 12 and throw another festival*? *we are definitely doing the latter. https://nmbrewfest.com/

Super-stoked to have partnered with The Duck Inn, in Chicago, to create a custom Red Blend just for them! As Ricochet grows, I've been able to have some fun with restaurants to offer a custom wine. Are you a restauranteur looking for your own BTG, personalized wine from the Willamette Valley? Or, how about an Alumni organization? (I would love to make a "Wildcat Red" sometime, for the Purple and White...hint hint.). Even weddings and corporate functions. It's possible to have well-crafted, sophisticated, AND personalized wine for your own brand or event. Intrigued? This is a good time to plan: Bottling season is coming, and Harvest is only 8 months away. DM or reach out at erich@ricochetwine.com if you're curious about custom wine projects. Cheers!
