I think I get why stories appeal to us so much. They give us the clarity and simplicity our real lives often lack. Focus on your stories. Whether its your personal story, your team story, or your company story.

People love (and remember) stories! A good story has a clear conflict and a satisfying resolution. If you can frame your business as a story with a vexing problem and then a simple solution, people will listen and remember what you do. #TMEbrandmarketing #professionalbranding #brandingexperts #digitalmarketing #storytellingmarketing

Crafting Impactful Communications for Service Providers | Strategy & Execution | Content Planning | Messaging
Struggle to captivate your audience? Your stories of overcoming challenges, moments of inspiration, personal experiences, or client successes are great choices. I like to share stories about being nervous to speak in public. It’s helpful for potential clients to understand that I’ve been (and sometimes, still meander over to the “OMG!” side) when they are. Note: It’s important to deliver those stories with more than a “started from the bottom, now I’m here” tone. Consider giving tips or extending an invitation to work together. Start sharing your stories today!

Stories. In essence that is what we humans are all about. We tell each other stories. We define ourselves by those stories. We live day to day with those stories. We tell other people about our stories. Our campfire is now connected to every village, town, and city in the world. So, it's harder for people to hear your story. We have to find clever ways to get noticed. But often the best storytellers or stories are the quiet ones. They are not loud. They don't like to shout to be heard. They are just posting, without fanfare in the hopes that someone will notice them. So if you see someone like this, now is the time to make their day. You might always see their posts but never comment. Well today, like, or comment on their post. Add to someone's story, that they will be noticed and you have noticed them. Stories connect us. Stories lead us somewhere, but........ Stories can be changed.

https://lnkd.in/ge9bBNrg New video just dropped! And I'm especially proud of the work that Joshua Koterba and I did on this one. It's all about how stories have a hold on us. It's like they unlock something deep within, right? In this video, we'll take a journey from the humble roots of storytelling, found in ancient cave paintings, to the way stories enrich our everyday lives. Why? Because we're all storytellers at heart. Whether you're a writer, a musician, or any kind of creator, this video is for you. We're going deep to understand why storytelling matters so much to us humans. Stories aren't just for passing the time; they're about connection, empathy, and ultimately, what makes life worth living. When we share our stories, we're sharing a part of ourselves. What stories have touched your soul or inspired your own work? Let's keep this conversation going in the comments. Sharing makes the journey easier for everyone. If what we talked about today struck a chord with you, go ahead and tap that like button. Stay tuned for more discussions that dig into creativity, personal growth, and all the things that make life a fascinating ride. Because together, we're all constantly writing the narrative of human experience, one story at a time.

Absolutely. What some might call the "emotional ties" of storytelling, we call humanity. To have humanity you need ... well, humans. You need people in your story. Find the people that your audience need to know and will want champion and learn more about. They could be your employees, your customers, your fans. Find the humans. Finding tension also helps. People say they want to read or hear happy stories, but there has to be tension too. The happy ending of a story is particularly satisfying if there was struggle, upheaval and, of course, tension. Tension is emotion too, after all. Give your audience tension. Give them people. Both will bring your stories to life. What types of stories do you tell in your messaging? #storytelling #brandstory #PRexpert #bygeorgecomms
