We're always focused on safety at work and at home, and our associates have been highlighting all the ways we’re committed to safety for ourselves and those around us throughout National Safety Month. One outstanding example was the fire extinguisher training completed by our Linden, California team. Thanks to Linden and all associates for remembering to think Safety First in everything we do!

Congratulations to Trey LeBlanc of our Lafayette facility for being awarded August's BBS Safety Spotlight for his observation submission analyzing his surroundings for potential hazards before carrying out the offloading process. By doing so, he proactively helped someone get out of of the line of fire, possibly preventing an incident. Great job Trey! #SafetyFirst #IdentifyingHazards #Safety

We are extremely passionate about raising awareness around ladder safety at Wolverine Fire Protection, especially during this month of March, which is National Ladder Safety Month. From my experience, most ladder-related injuries do not occur from working at great heights. Surprisingly, most of these incidents happen when working less than 8 feet, and some even occur when working as little as one to two rungs up a ladder. These accidents can significantly impact our, your, and everyone's lives in ways that we may not even realize. Therefore, I am reaching out to you to see if you also share the same passion for promoting ladder safety. Together, we can work towards educating people and positively impacting our job sites and communities. It's important to remember that safety does not stop when you leave the job site. Take the time to educate your friends and family. #LadderSafetyMonth #safety #safetyfirst #construction #health #staysafe #protection #safe #training #hse #family #safetytips #work #healthandsafety #osha #laddersafety

Some of Team Gopher spent time at Guardian in Houston last week. This was a comprehensive hands-on training focused on Guardian's fall protection gear. It's not just about the gear; it's about understanding the critical role it plays in safeguarding lives and ensuring a SAFE work environment. Theory is essential but practical application takes it to another level. We believe in hands-on training so that we are better able to serve our customers and make recommendations based on needs. Safety protocols and equipment are constantly evolving. This training reinforced the need for continuous improvement and staying updated with the latest industry standards. It's a responsibility we owe to ourselves and our customers! When you need fall protection–LET THE GOPHER GET IT! #fallprotection #workplacesafety #safetyfirst #professionaldevelopment

Our line of work takes us to great heights — which makes the risk of falling, or being struck by falling branches and limbs a serious concern. Our team follows strict safety measures to ensure both the crew in the trees and the crew on the ground are prepared to prevent what we call struck-by incidents. Watch our safety training video to learn more. #safetyfirst #townsendtreeservice
