Our PUREVAP™ Gen3 QRR project's recent breakthrough is a significant step towards modernizing the production of Silicon. In accordance with what I stated in the release: "The reproducibility of the results obtained by Gen3 QRR is another demonstration of how the HPQ PUREVAP™ QRR process is modernizing the production of high-purity Silicon, transforming a century-old industrial process known for its significant CO2 emissions into an efficient, scalable, and low carbon manufacturing process. With Silicon now officially included in the US Department of Energy (DOE) 2023 Final Critical Materials List, the timing for the advancement of our PUREVAP™ project could not be better." These advancements are not isolated successes but part of a broader vision at HPQ Silicon Inc. Over the past year, our three key initiatives—Silicon, Fumed Silica, and Autonomous Hydrogen Generation via Hydrolysis—have all achieved significant milestones as we diligently executed our business plan. I extend heartfelt gratitude to our team, our partners, and everyone who supports our vision. Your belief in our mission propels us forward as we continue to innovate and transform the industry. Join us as we drive a sustainable future. Today's press release [link in the comments] provides more insight. . . . #hpqsilicon #purevaptechnology #greentech #innovation #sustainability #siliconproduction #futureofmanufacturing

🔋 Exciting advancements in battery technology! Researchers at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory are exploring the use of DRX, a finely ground rock salt, as a potential solution to the increasing demand for metals in car batteries. With the projected doubling of electric vehicle sales by 2027, the supply of crucial battery components such as lithium, nickel, and cobalt could become limited. This could pose significant challenges for the industry's sustainability. However, the development of DRX cathodes could provide a sustainable alternative and triple the capacity of car batteries. Silicon-dominant anodes have shown great potential in increasing the energy density and extreme fast-charging #xfc performance of lithium-ion batteries. However, some key challenges associated with the use of silicon have limited its widespread adoption. StoreDot is the first and only company that has made significant strides in overcoming these challenges. StoreDot was able to keep the volume expansion of silicon under 10% with its unique binders, electrolyte additives, and cell design. This achievement ensures that the anode maintains its cycle life and overall performance. StoreDot has also optimized the formation of the solid electrolyte interface (SEI) layer, which is essential for long-term performance and safety. The cost of producing silicon-dominant anodes can be a limiting factor. StoreDot has developed a standard commercial production process that is cost-effective, similar to graphite-based anodes. StoreDot's approaches to reach this outstanding performance include nano structuring, coating technologies, composite anodes, and advanced electrolytes. And now, shipping #100in5 cell, enabling electric vehicles to charge 100 miles of range for each 5 minutes of charging. Overall, StoreDot's achievements in overcoming the key challenges associated with the use of silicon in lithium-ion batteries are impressive and pave the way for a more sustainable future.
