Yesterday, we kicked off Georgia Tech CREATE-X with 140 startups! It’s our largest cohort ever. I’m excited to return as a coach for my seventh year and help founders build great products. Breakdown of our startups by tech: - 70% generative AI / ML / CV - 42% mobile apps - 38% web apps / SaaS - 23% hardware / device Breakdown of our startups by industry: - 43% technology / media - 33% healthcare / biotech - 24% consumer products - 20% ecommerce *startups can fit multiple categories above Trends I’m noticing: - Very few web3 or fintech - Still lots of GPT wrapper apps - Many great MVPs shipped in days - Many founders still distracted pitching investors instead of selling to customers It’s our 10th year running CREATE-X. And it only gets bigger and better every year. Pumped to dig in with these founders. Nothing beats building a startup in ATL.
Wow that is a huge cohort! So exciting 🥳
This is amazing to see, Seth! GT is the premier institution for entrepreneurial success 🔥🚀
Nice! Happy to have a chat with them about GTM/fundraising! :)
You shoulda wore a shirt that said “no gpt wrappers allowed”
Super amazing and they are lucky to have you! Happy to add value if any of the Founders need help executing in the trenches and want to build systems and foundations + grow revenue. Applies to B2C/B2B, Marketplaces and Mobile Apps.
That's awesome! Exciting mix of startups. Atlanta's startup scene is buzzing!
Wow! I love seeing this. Dream, build, grow!
I'm a little upset with LinkedIn that I can't react with a 🔥 emoji
Agree, Seth; nothing beats building a #startup! And Atlanta is a great place for that with so many resources, great universities, HQs of supporting companies, and a top #Technology city.

2monothing but pure facts, I'm glad you'll guide people in the bootstrapping direction Seth. Before you take that sweet sweet VC money go ship a product. Of course for all the hardware junkies & biotech nerds it could be worthwhile to pursue some seed capital since those markets tend to be more capital intensive. But if you're building software, go ship something and grind out sales by hand. LETS GO GT KEEP IT UP
