I've been a loyal slave to the owl since 2015 and am currently on a 1678 day streak. I'm very proud that I can say sentences such as "You are as big as an elephant" or "The dogs are reading the newspaper" in about 5 different languages. I do however have a request. Ich habe jedoch eine Bitte.  ただ、ひとつお願いがあります。 不过，我有一个请求。 Tuttavia, ho una richiesta.  I want to have friends and be able to cheer them on, but I don't want to be part of the leagues. Is this possible?

Well thank goodness you exist. I am a Duolingo fan on streak Day 646. I am munching Finnish and Chinese and have tasted multiple other languages in my time with DL. I spend every single morning with you and you remind me if I forget to stop by. I had a parrot for 25 years and recently lost him so you are my daily bird! I don't even mind your advertising most of the time and appreciate that I can mute the sound if I feel like it. Keep up the great work! I love that you teach not just words and phrases but how to speak and hear very delicate intonations and nuances. I am actually starting to think in Chinese sometimes and the local market owner is increasingly impressed when I shop in her store!

I would love to work at duolingo but my only qualification is my streak 🫠

Happy 12th Birthday Duo 🎂🎉🎇✨🎈 ! It reminds me of that actually the first time I used Duolingo was 10 years ago. But at that time I also tried other language learning apps and I felt the novelty soon wore off. 3 years ago, I saw the girl I knew that summer use Duolingo to learn French, and I found that the app seemed to have improved a lot! Or maybe just because I didn't find how good it is before. So I started to use it to learn French again, and last year I started to learn Dutch. Now I have been studying in Duolingo for almost 1000 days (It's been 983 days) 😊😉 !

Happy Birthday, Duo! 🙏🏻It’s always been a dream to work here. Growing up in a small town and learning how to speak a variety of different languages. I speak over 6 languages and been teaching Japanese language and culture for a while. Just moved to the States a year ago. I hope that someday I will get a chance to join this amazing team of people!🎉🎉🎉I hope Duolingo will keep prospering and expanding!

I really love using Duolingo. Godspeed 🙌 you folks. Keep doing the great work. You really have an app where the paid plans are really worth it. The mental stimulation I get from learning multiple languages simultaneously is the most amazing feeling ever. I really wish I could learn Sanskrit on Duolingo as well to be honest but I guess Duolingo will learn Sanskrit in time.

I was thinking that Duolingo is getting really good at sneaking its way into my life and giving me a language reminders and this felt like it was next level 🤭
