So you can imagine my delight for the chance to address the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE)! 🙏 Thank you Craig Leger and Roger Rosewall, D.Eng. for inviting me to speak to #INCOSE's Defense Systems Working Group (DSWG). During my 11 years at Defense Acquisition University (DAU), I've has taught and graduated literally thousands of DoD acquisition members of all ranks. For the last 7 years, my focus has been with the executive- and senior executive-level members. I've learned a lot from them and about them, their #mindsets, their #challenges, their #attitudes. Drawing from this background, I shared with the DSWG, the key leadership skills today's acquisition leaders should embrace if we are to "build enduring strategies" per the NDS.
