🗣️Many of us haven't talked about periods, or period products, since we first started menstruating. And #periodstigma keeps too many from feeling comfortable talking about periods, a totally natural bodily function. 🩸We can go years, even decades, without making changes, or increasing our knowledge. Celebrating the International Day of Action for Women's Health. Women around the world face a variety of health issues that can significantly impact their well-being and quality of life. These issues range from maternal mortality, sexual violence, menstrual disorders, and poor access to prenatal and postnatal care. Addressing these challenges is essential for the advancement of women's health and equality. HACEY is dedicated to alleviating these health concerns among women. One of our key initiatives is the Agbebi project, focuses primarily on supporting pregnant women. Through this project, we provide delivery kits to ease the financial constraints faced by women, ensuring they have the necessary resources for a safe childbirth experience. Our Stop Cut project is pivotal as we work to end female genital mutilation (FGM). We organize seminars and campaigns to raise awareness and educate communities about the dangers of FGM, advocating for its eradication.
