Your business is measured through financial targets, goals and initiatives. It is however your people the ones that will develop these tactics that will facilitate your sucess. And, when it comes about how you integrate your staff, we have too much to do to make our workplaces more diverse, equal and inclusive to everyone, everywhere. And your people are very aware of where you sit in landscape. I've been at Jellyfish for over 10 years now, and I've always been conscious we have been at the forefront on this space. BUT, inside me, I know it isn't enough. We still have disparities, and many things we continously miss (or are bias), so we clearly need to do more. And, why not, share it with the world. No avoiding it, Xmas is coming! 🎄   And the dreaded (or loved) Xmas do is no doubt on the horizon 🌄   Are you in charge of organising or overseeing it this year? 🧑🏼🎄   Remember:   · Keep it inclusive – not everyone celebrates Christmas, and not everyone drinks! Both of these should be OK. I love a good ole knees up but do something that includes everyone 🙏🏼   · Make sure it reflects your culture – culture isn’t just for the day job. It’s a work Xmas do! Your culture should carry through 👉   · Cover the cost! – it’s your do. Be clear about costs, what’s being covered and what’s down to the choice of the employee. We set out to bring diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) leaders from across agencies together to help solve some of the most challenging DE&I topics for our industry. Working with the PR Council, we first convened the working group in the fall of 2022. Today we’re sharing the first output – the PR Council’s “Better Together” report. Recently, we at Asahi Group held an internal workshop aimed at deepening our understanding of human rights. We screened a thought-provoking documentary film on the human rights of producers, sparking a valuable discussion amongst our members　about their relevance to our industry and our organization.   Our guest speaker, Akiko SATO from UNDP, who is an expert on human rights,  raised a compelling question: "What can we, as a community, do at both corporate and individual levels, towards nature and the planet?" This sparked an insightful discussion about our responsibilities, as businesses and individuals, in respecting nature and the planet on a larger scale and within our communities.   We are committed to continuing these conversations and taking actions that reflect our dedication to human rights and sustainability.   #HumanRights #CorporateResponsibility #Sustainability
