Raise your hand if you also have nearly 1000 lists in your Notes app. 🙋♀️

I read books, drink coffee, write content, drink iced coffee, and fight evil, but not necessarily in that order. I try and Pay-It-Forward daily in words and deeds, and I also do "Visual Copywriting".

My latest posting in a totally unrelated group is titled: "How to create the ultimate list to keep track of all your other lists." [Here is an excerpt from a current work in progress] A play of three acts titled: "Ham Sandwich" Dialogue spoken by Ham Sandwich - Act 1, scene 1 — 17th century combination library/kitchen . . . . . . A mindful soliloquy, of sorts To list, or not to list . . . that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous lists, Or to take arms against a virtual sea of lists And by opposing, end them all and die to the list, The heart-ache of a thousand unfinished lists To sleep, perchance to dream of the ultimate list, That feeble minded attempt — a list to end all lists, For in that sleep of death what dreams may be listed Not in alphabetical order, but randomly by chance, When we have shuffled enough of these damned lists Must first give us pause—for the respect of said list, The undiscovere'd country, from whose lists burn brightly No traveller returns,  never to make yet another list And thus the native hue of the final resolute list With regard to their contents, must forever turn awry And in the end, lose the name of the holy action list

I just checked, and I have 2,783 notes on my iPhone. Of those notes being lists? At least a few hundred, I’d wager. But I use my notes app for a variety of reasons. Love how Jennifer Egan uses list-making and “short-form” note-styled scribbles into a small piece of her full novel. Great adage and pearls of wisdom shared here!
