It's week 2 of our extended birthday party, and I have genuinely loved going down memory lane with members and colleagues past and present. 🎂 As we get bogged down in the day-to-day, it's easy to forget to take a step back and just look how far we've come and what was built together. So James grabbed his virtual pen, and decided to take us on a journey > https://lnkd.in/etb-wY2x #BoundlessTogether

Helping companies automate & scale | Product Manager | Data Scientist | Artificial Intelligence | Community Advocate
Heart strings pulled. This post took me back to my days at TOUCH Community Services , where I was helping the elderly, at-risk youth, and the community. The post discussed difficult yet critical subjects like Lasting Power of Attorney and Advance Care Planning, . This post made me think about the struggles that the elderly, whom I had the privilege to serve, had to endure. They were in constant need of assistance and understanding, reminding me of the importance of our work. Family relationships of the elderly were another common area of concern. There were constant challenges due to unspoken expectations and communication gaps, leading to various relational issues. Lasting Power of Attorney and Advance Care Planning are difficult but essential topics. These conversations can be tough to start, but they are of significant importance. From what I've seen, it's hard to kick off these conversations, but once they begin, true emotions are exposed. Yes, it might cause some hurt, but it's from this point that healing can start. It's in these difficult discussions that opportunities for understanding and reconciliation appear. If you haven't done this for your loved ones yet, I emplore you to consider.

🍂 N. O. V. E. M. B. E. R.🍂 Nobemeber provides the perfect mood, to announce a small but significant shift in my career! As of October 1st I now call myself a former recruiter. - My career focus has shifted from finding talent to building and retaining talent, becuase what I could not help but encounter was that that: 🦄 PURPLE SQUIRLS and PINK UNICORNS do exist. They are however, MADE and kept, not lost then FOUND. 🦄 💫 I am passionately commited to EVP and being the liasion who bridges this enourmous gap. Companies Spend Thousands and thousands of dollars, finding the right person, but are failing to create enviorments where the right person is made and kept. 🍂 I am so very thankful to the many professionals I have met and continue to meet throughout my career. But I am especially thankful to those who "saw me", "believed in me", and provided the opportunity that has led to the luxery of making a living knowing my purpose. I am inpired daily, and reminded that we are all here with a purpose to fulfill. Our purpose is dynamic, and ever evolving until completed. We all have skills, that someone doesn't ( Believe it or not) , we are all needed, and because of that we are all better together. #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #corporateleadership #leadershipcoaching #teamwork #jobs #talent #recruiting
🍂Not everyone will get you... and that's more than ok. But who did this year? It is NOVEMBER and a month we dedicate to give and be greatful. Whose time, energy, beauty, and worth are you greatful for this season ? 🍁

- Reflecting on the Importance of Conversations About Life and Death - I recently came across a heartfelt article shared by TWS about the passing of her brother cousin due to cancer. It touched upon a topic that is often difficult to address - death. In a world where conversations about success, achievements, and growth dominate our social platforms, it is refreshing to see someone courageously shedding light on an issue that deserves attention. The article emphasized the significance of discussing death openly and honestly. As humans, we tend to shy away from discussing mortality, perhaps out of fear or discomfort. However, by avoiding these conversations, we inadvertently rob ourselves of opportunities to support and connect with others on a deeper level. In my personal experience, I've witnessed the power of addressing the topic of death with compassion and empathy. Acknowledging our own mortality and the inevitable passing of loved ones allows us to appreciate life more fully. It reminds us to cherish every moment and make meaningful connections with the people around us. As professionals, we often focus on career aspirations and personal growth. But amidst the pursuit of success, let us not forget the essence of being human. Let us remember to have those difficult conversations, to lend an empathetic ear to those who need it, and to share our own experiences without fear of judgment. In fostering a culture where open discussions about life and death are welcomed, we can create a supportive and compassionate community. We can encourage each other to embrace vulnerability, find solace in times of grief, and celebrate the beauty of life in all its impermanence. So, let's break the barriers and acknowledge the importance of conversations about death. Let's be there for our friends, colleagues, and loved ones during their moments of loss. By doing so, we strengthen the fabric of our relationships and find strength in our shared human experiences. Thank you, TWS, for sharing your heartfelt reflection. Your courage to talk about this challenging subject inspires us all to be more compassionate and understanding. Let's keep the conversation going and foster a more empathetic community together. #OpenConversations #EmbracingLifeAndDeath #CompassionateCommunity

[Happy anniversary Jenna] To celebrate, here are 11 lessons from 11 years: 🕐 Challenges can bring you together if you let them. 🕑 You think you’re busy before having kids. You’re not. 🕒 Making memories is the name of the game. 🕓 The years race by faster and faster. Find ways to slow down. 🕔 Two people focused on the same priority is a powerful force. 🕕 Appreciate how your partner’s strengths help you to do what you love. 🕖 Boring things become fun and meaningful when you do them together. 🕗 You think you’re tired before having kids. You’re not. 🕘 We all love to do certain things. Give each other space to enjoy that time. 🕙 It’s never too late for chocolate. 🕚 Some fresh air and a conversation always helps. Thanks Jenna for making all our years so far so memorable. With love, B P.S. – What would you add to these lessons?
