Meet Team Orange, meet Sixtine Vignais! Despite the bumpy ride of a global pandemic and the impact on the rental business, when Sixtine joined SIXT as a marketing intern in 2020, she found that being part of an organization that showed high flexibility and reactivity in times of crisis gave her an accelerated learning experience. 📈 Thus making her choose SIXT a couple months afterwards to look over the French market in the country development team. Sixtine has been marketing responsible for the SIXT chauffeur service SIXT ride since August 2023, putting the pieces together between business needs and marketing solutions: 'I value the opportunity I have in my role, to constantly be interacting with various stakeholders representing diverse knowledge backgrounds. And this makes achieving goals exciting and fulfilling.' Thank you for sharing your story, Sixtine! Keep it up for #SIXTride! 🧡 #SIXT #TeamOrange

Taking on a more senior role is easier when you have a team of mentors to turn to for advice and assurance. Providing a supportive, collaborative environment that fosters professional development is how Volaris Group helps young leaders gain confidence in their own decisions. When I joined Volaris, I never imagined I’d be writing this post after nearly a decade with the company. I first joined as an intern reporting to Kim Emmerson, and at the time, I possessed limited skills. We were a much smaller organization, but I was keen to take on challenges and grow in my career. When a Director of Marketing opportunity opened and Mark Miller encouraged me to take on the challenge and grow into the role, I was extremely nervous. The risk of failure was high, and I wasn't sure I possessed the skills the job demanded. But the support and consultancy of leaders who believed in me gave me confidence that I'd be supported as I grew into the role. When Mark introduced me to Sheena Archer for formal mentorship to help me develop the skills I was missing, I knew I was in good hands. Years later, people ask me why I am still at Volaris. It may sound cheesy, but this WSJ post really says it all. I could have returned to school and pursued an MBA, but the education I've gotten from being a part of the Volaris network is unparalleled. No two seasons look the same, and I’m very proud to be a part of building what our company has become. Thank you to Mark, and all of the other mentors and collaborators I've met along the way. Your passion to deliver for your customers and employees is a constant reminder that I made the right decision all those years ago. https://lnkd.in/e4EZ2YCH

Celebrating my first year work anniversary of my first job at Reizend. It's been an Incredible rollercoaster ride filled with joy, sadness, frustration, excitement, growth and accomplishment. Here are 3 lessons I have learnt : 1.If you approach the dead end of a road, it doesn't mean there's no path to reach the destination. You just have to go back and traverse a different path and you will find the destination. 2.When faced with a tedious task, the brain assumes it has to spend a lot of energy to complete the task, so to save energy it'll order you to do an easier task i.e procrastinate. So to avoid procrastination, chunk down to smaller tasks and focus on completing one chunk at once. You can move the mountain. 3.I remember the awe I felt when I first sighted the thousands of lines of code in a single file of the project and wondered how I was going to deal with it. Fast forward today, I am writing thousands of lines of code. The thought that had fueled me throughout is “I WILL LEARN IT & I CAN DO IT”. Grateful for the support of my amazing colleagues and mentors. Excited for new opportunities ahead! #WorkAnniversary #1yearOfAndroidDevelopment #1yearAnniversary #CareerJourney #AndroidDevelopment #softwareEngineering

70:20:10 The 70:20:10 principle is often considered a suitable guideline for designing effective learning experiences, stating that - 70% of learning occurs through experiences - 20% through social interactions - 10% (only) through formal training. Some experts even discuss if it is more likely to be 55:25:20 🔎 However, my colleague Ralf Frisch showed a great approach on how to put the 70% into practice 👌🏼👏🏻 #learning #development #Volocopter #changemaker
With over 500 employees across two continents, our team at Volocopter is not only a close-knit bunch but also well-connected within the urban air mobility ecosystem. Through collaborative efforts with our partners, we are pioneering the industry and leading the way for a comprehensive understanding of this exciting new field. Recently, our Team Lead Partnership Management, Ralf Frisch, utilized his Learning and Development budget to take an internship with our long-term partner ADAC Luftrettung to better understand their processes and way of working. At Volocopter, we value continuous improvement and lifelong learning, which is why every employee has access to an individual L&D resource. This investment in our employees is an investment in the future of our company. Do you want to learn more about how Ralf's experience went? Find out more: https://bit.ly/45DGVsa

Peaks of Q1-2 📢Fly with Air OPIM announcement Our Škoda Auto passengers returned safely from a Sightseeing trip broadening their horizons of what diversity is. Really? We are a travel agency now? Nope. It is an e-learning for which you need a virtual boarding pass because you get on a virtual airplane. E-learning is a success because in our design we managed to make a super interactive walk through unconscious biases and understand consequences, such as microaggressions. And we are super proud we could give a taste of it to Skoda auto. 📢#DEI for Management Taking DEI seriously and from the right angle. Dialogues, workshops and concrete action steps were taken by the Board of Directors at Siemens Energy and management of Toyota Motor Corporation. Best of luck! And see you again soon. 📢Deep dive through employee qualitative survey to uncover challenges and opportunities for Skanska was a month-long journey in three countries Czechia, Slovakia and Poland. 📢#DEI for Back Office Managers Leveraging aspects of diversity with the offices, and not only corridors, toilets and reception but far beyond that. Dialogue with @Krotitele Kanclů at Ataccama base. 📢You are the second impression. The first one is your Job Add. In the two phase workshop a Captain America - fake candidate - was interested in a job add of Tesco. Did he apply? How was the interview? Being inclusive and minded is a vital principle in your hiring process. Fingers crossed, dear Tesco. We are excited for Q2-3 with familiar and new faces. Thanks to these and many more companies to entrust our expertise and eagerness to bring smoothly #diversityAndInclusion into your daily reality. I mentioned it before ... I am not a spring chicken anymore :) So I started wondering what the typical career path of the young professionals of today looks like? Are there significant differences ? My choice was very clear from the start. Starting my professional journey, I was looking for something that is not just a workplace. I wanted a gateway to a world of learning, growth, and global exploration. So ... Why consider a career with a global giant like I did ? 1. **Diverse Experiences**: Imagine working in different countries, immersed in new cultures, tackling unique challenges. That’s the kind of career diversity that accelerates professional growth and personal development. 2. **Innovation at Your Fingertips**: Being part of a global leader means you’re at the forefront of industry innovation. Whether it’s sustainability, cutting-edge technology, or new business models, you’re part of the change that shapes the future. 3. **Learning from the Best**: You’ll find yourself among seasoned professionals from around the globe. This network is not just your team; it’s your personal board of mentors, offering insights you can’t find in textbooks. 4. **A Platform for Global Impact**: Your work doesn’t just contribute to local projects but has a global footprint. The impact of what you do resonates across borders, contributing to a larger purpose. 5. **Career Flexibility**: The beauty of large organisations lies in their diverse range of roles and departments. Your career can evolve in numerous directions – from engineering to marketing, from finance to sustainability. For young professionals eager to embrace the world, companies like - in my case, the Volvo Group - are more than just employers – they are launchpads for a career that knows no boundaries. Are you considering a career with an international group? Or have you already embarked on this journey? Share your aspirations, experiences, or questions below. Let’s inspire and guide each other in this global career adventure! (ps : some business cards are missing ... to be updated soon :) ) #volvogroup #renaulttrucks #udtrucks

🛠️ Celebrating Experience at the Car Service Station 🛠️ When bringing my car in for service today at a well-known service station, I was pleasantly surprised to see a unique display that truly reflects the dedication and commitment of their team. The service station has a wall showcasing the combined years of experience of their employees, and it left a lasting impression on me. In an era when the world is constantly evolving, and technology is advancing at an unprecedented rate, there's something deeply reassuring about seeing a business that values and proudly displays the wisdom gained through years of hard work. The wall features the years of experience each employee has contributed to the service station, and it serves as a testament to their dedication to excellence. This display isn't just about numbers; it's about the knowledge, expertise, and passion that these employees bring to their work every day. It's a reminder that experience matters. It's a testament to the fact that the team at Service Station has weathered the storms, learned from their experiences, and continues to provide top-notch service to their customers. In an age where we often celebrate innovation and fresh ideas (which are undoubtedly essential), let's not forget the invaluable role that experience plays in ensuring the reliability, quality, and efficiency of any service. It's a reminder that a blend of youthful energy and seasoned wisdom can create the perfect recipe for success. Their wall of experience is an inspiration, reminding us that the journey of mastery is worth every year, and every lesson learned is a steppingstone towards excellence.

Executive Director @AAI | ex-COO @Binance, Yandex, Uber. Leading Social Change Against Air Pollution. Graceful Leadership | MSc in Applied Statistics & Data Mining.
A recent interview with Arsen Tomsky, who recalled the time when he first came to Almaty in 2014 and was shocked by the popularity of gypsy cabs and the "everyone is a driver" kind of culture, brought back vivid memories for me - a nostalgic journey back to the years 2014-2016. In summer 2015, I came across an article in Kazakhstan's Forbes discussing Uber's plans to enter Kazakhstan's market and the hunt for a General Manager (GM) and Ops Manager. I vividly remember my response to that job posting, which led me down a path filled with interviews and challenging tasks, including an analytical test in Excel and a creative assignment. The final task was to prepare an overview of Almaty's taxi market, neatly presented on slides. Back then, I compiled a 30-page ppt brimming with market insights and evaluations (you can catch a glimpse of some slides in the pic). I remember evaluating the market from multiple angles, considering various assumptions for both supply and demand. These numbers seemed almost surreal at the time, especially for someone like me, who was relatively new to the industry and lacked significant insights. But, to secure the job, I had to provide a well-justified evaluation. At that time, I estimated the Almaty market at $83-120 million with a total of 77.5 thousand trips per day (or 2.3 million trips per month). Surprisingly, these numbers seemed fantastic at the time - especially for someone who knew nothing about the industry and had no industry insights. But to get the job, I had to provide and justify the evaluation. By the way, look at the design – it perfectly reflected Uber's branding of the time, emphasizing the premium 'black car service.' This branding eventually evolved to embrace the concept of affordable on-demand rides. In today's world, taxi applications have become an integral part of city life, and it's hard to imagine a world without the convenience of tapping to order a taxi or food. I am proud to have been a part of this incredible transformation. #ridehailing #uber #mobility #launch

Head - Admin & Facilities @ Nissan Digital India LLP | ESG professional | Real Estate | Facility Management | Global Sourcing | Vendor Management |Sustainability |Project Management | IMK
It brings me immense pleasure to share that this week, our workplace at Nissan Digital India LLP is celebrating 'Quality Week,' a time dedicated to recognizing and promoting the culture of quality in everything we do. I wanted to take a moment to reflect on how in a complex world, I strive to uphold quality in my own way. Quality isn't just a buzzword; it's a mindset. Whether you're an software engineer, a manager, an Architect, or an intern, the essence of quality is universal. It's about doing things right, not just once, but every time. It's about ensuring that what we deliver meets or exceeds expectations, consistently and without compromise. Here are a few simple principles I try to live by in my pursuit of quality: 1. Attention to Detail: Quality begins with the little things. It's about paying attention to details that may go unnoticed but can make a world of difference. 2. Continuous Improvement: Quality is a journey, not a destination. I believe in the power of learning and growing, striving to do better each day. 3. Honesty and Integrity: Quality is not just about the final product; it's also about the process. I follow a path of honesty and integrity in my work, which I believe is integral to a quality outcome. 4.Teamwork: Quality is a collective effort. We achieve it together, by collaborating, sharing insights, and valuing diverse perspectives. 5. Customer-Centric Approach: Understanding the needs and expectations of our clients is at the heart of delivering quality. I aim to keep their satisfaction in focus. 6. Adaptability: In a dynamic world, quality isn't static. I embrace change and innovation, adapting to new challenges and technologies. As we celebrate Quality Week, I'm reminded of how fortunate I am to be a part of a company that places such a strong emphasis on quality. It's not just a one-week affair; it's an integral part of our everyday work life. I encourage everyone, not only in our company but across industries, to join the quality movement. It's a mindset that can lead to better products, happier customers, and a more sustainable future. Let's continue to champion quality, in our work and our lives, because, in the end, it's the simple commitment to excellence that makes a significant difference. #QualityWeek #QualityMatters #CommitmentToExcellence #QualityInWork #LinkedInPost #CelebratingQuality #nissanemployee# Nissan Motor Corporation Nissan Digital India LLP
