40 percent of the global energy-related carbon emissions are traced back to temperature regulation in buildings. The easiest way to decrease the emissions is to stop buildings from leaking valuable heat through the walls and roof with thermal insulation. 🏛️ Glass wool is one of the most common insulation materials, not only because of its ability to insulate heat but also because of its sound dampening properties. Therefore, glass wool is often used in buildings that benefit from sound attenuation, like theaters and opera houses. 🏛️ But there are many critical assets in the production of glass wool insulation. By using SKF Imx-1 wireless sensors, the bearings can be analyzed to prevent unexpected shutdowns in the machinery. This way, we can help the procedure remain as smooth as possible. And, in the long run, make you comfortable in your local cultural building. #SKF

👂Low Frequency Noise Control - From Industrial to Entertainment 👂 Low frequency noise issues can occur in various sectors and often need specific consideration when dealing with industrial operations or entertainment premises. Mitigating low frequency noise presents several challenges: 📐Low frequency noise can propagate over long distances and through lightweight building fabric elements📐 🚫Traditional noise barriers and insulation may not be as effective against low frequency noise🚫 📑Additional specific assessment methodology is required to assess low frequency noise📑 📊 Third party low frequency noise data is not always readily available from manufacturers/suppliers📊 Effective low frequency noise mitigation often requires a multi-faceted approach, no one size fits all. Furthermore, the possibility of ground borne vibration (as opposed to airborne low frequency noise) also often needs to be considered and ruled out (or otherwise mitigated). Low frequency noise issues can be notoriously difficult to deal with, as due to many factors, ranging from increased diffraction potential, reduced sound insulation (and absorption) options, to possible confusion with ground borne vibration…. As ever, the initial correct diagnosis of the issue at the outset is the key to success and - crucially for the Client - avoidance of potentially very expensive misdirected mitigation!

Noise Pollution… This is a growing issue and there is not enough talk about it. EMI is a very real concern. We all use Wall Chargers to charge our devices. These devices are made as cheaply as possible with little to no EMI suppression in their design. When plugged into 120 VAC mains power, your whole electrical system can act as a huge antenna, propagating the noise they generate to great distances. Electrical power distribution lines have the same problem. And even satellites are adding RF to the noise floor, not to mention the light pollution from a sky full of LEOs. Be mindful.

In the October issue of Energy in Buildings & Industry (EiBI) magazine is a product highlight for the new TROX RFD-V swirl air diffuser, designed for installation in exposed ceilings to provide faster heating in the room space. TROX RFD-V is a new and highly innovative swirl air diffuser unit with an integral thermal actuator. With all the benefits of the standard TROX RFD swirl diffuser including low sound power level, the RFD-V also benefits from automatic adjustment between (vertical position) heating and (horizontal position) radial cooling operation modes based on room temperature to provide faster cold-start and a more optimum indoor climate and occupant comfort by preventing draughts in the room space. Even better still, the effectiveness of RFD-V with vertical projection of air during heating up to 2.7m in height, can result in energy efficiency savings of up to 80%* versus other exposed ceiling diffusers. 👉 Read more in EiBI magazine: https://bit.ly/495ak1v Tim Tanner #swirldiffuser #airconditioning #ventilation #diffusers

Illuminate your surroundings when entering a room, factory or warehouse space, staircase, store or business with light sensors. Indoor motion detectors eliminate the need for constant light operation and fumbling for a light switch in the dark by providing automatic lighting and enhancing safety. A motion sensor accurately identifies moving heat sources in its coverage area and switches lights on. daylight harvesting is an additional feature. Once movement ceases, the sensor turns off the light after a set period. This efficient system reduces energy consumption in buildings and frees up users' hands and minds for other tasks. Our sensors are PIR (passive infrared) detectors, meaning they do not emit radiation but respond to changes in infrared sources like the human body. 🎉 Luxlite Air Seres-SF02 Solar Floodlight 🎉 ✔ The MCU control model is TIME + LIGHT control, not by PIR sensor.PIR sensors will be affected by temperature. With different temperatures, the sensitivity will be different。 So we use a Radar sensor ✔We use a LiFEPO4 battery, 4 hours charge with low battery protection function, 2000 times cycle charging. 5-level charging indicator, green light on after fully charged. ✔When in standby mode, our battery Consumes very little current. As we all know, When the battery discharge volt is below 1.82V, the battery cannot be charged through the solar panel. When the discharge volt of the battery is lower than 2.4V, the MCU control system will change the standby mode to sleeping mode, which keeps the discharge of the battery by 2.4V at all times before you use it so our solar item can work even u keep it in warehouse for MORE THAN 1 year. ✔ 5-level indicator Being unique with stable performance is always our design concept #solarlight #floodlight #luxlite

I see something you don't: The potential of excellent lighting quality in industry, for example. So-called HCL lighting changes its spectral composition analogously to natural sunlight. This is not only particularly pleasant - it also strengthens the sleep-wake cycle. We have compiled a brief overview of what else an attractive and future-proof industrial lighting system should be able to do. Heat Neutralizer 🔥 Blocking heat for 35 years with insulation coatings for energy savings, reduce CO2, CUI, UHI & cooler, safer spaces. Cool roofs to hot pipes to fire protection with Super Therm® & HPC®.
The common misunderstanding belief is white reflects heat...not infrared heat! We coated this Data Centre wall 2 years ago with SUPER THERM. On a 31C day it's still near ambient, compared to the white cars which don't block infrared heat, the wall is much cooler. White reflects light, not heat. Blocking infrared heat can make a 10-20C difference to any surface. The Data Centre is now safe from heat alarms because it's the Heat Neutraliser. Time and time again, we've proven we block heat! See the Data Centre wall video: https://lnkd.in/dc6iXAZE White heat reflective paints try to reflect the visible spectrum of sunlight while clean (44%). Blocking the infrared radiation (53%) is critical to the full success of a cool roof insulation coating. Most can’t do this so rely on relative results from SRI and being as white as possible. Solar reflectivity is a measure of how much sunlight a roof can reflect – not infrared heat! The original Heat Neutralizer Ceramics Thermal Insulation Coating for 35 years. SUPER THERM® blocks 99.5% of the infrared and 96.1% total solar heat: https://lnkd.in/g3bWKiNf #CoolRoofs #NetZeroEmissions #HeatReflectivePaint #EnergyReduction #UrbanHeatIslands #InsulationCoatings #SuperTherm #RetrofitAustralia #HeatNeutralizer #ThermalInsulationCoatings
