💬 Last week, our community highlighted the essential role of patient advocacy in comms, with many of us integrating it as a core element of our overarching strategy. Discussions showed the need for regular engagement with patient advocacy organizations and ensuring patient voices are included in the comms development process. Key takeaway: Effective patient advocacy communication hinges on routine involvement and cross-department collaboration to ensure messages are consistently supportive and patient-focused.

These apply whether you’re responsible for patient advocacy or supporting these efforts in partnership with an established patient advocacy function at your org or client. What’s your take on our list? What else would you add?
