Managing a workforce of over 8,000 employees has been an enriching and challenging experience that has honed my skills as an HR manager. Strategic thinking and meticulous planning were crucial in developing HR strategies that aligned with organizational goals while catering to individual employee needs. This involved forecasting staffing requirements, implementing effective recruitment and retention strategies, and ensuring compliance with labor laws across various regions and departments. Clear and transparent communication was essential for disseminating information, addressing concerns, and fostering a sense of belonging among employees. Regular town hall meetings, targeted email updates, and interactive training sessions helped build trust and engagement across the organization. Fostering a culture of inclusivity and diversity was also important. Embracing the unique talents, perspectives, and backgrounds of our employees enriched our organizational culture and drove innovation. Initiatives such as diversity training, mentorship programs, and employee resource groups created an environment where everyone felt valued and empowered. Managing such a large workforce presented challenges, requiring agility, adaptability, and a solutions-oriented mindset. Each challenge, whether addressing individual concerns or navigating complex HR issues, provided opportunities for growth and learning. I am proud of the progress we have made as a team in managing and supporting a workforce of this scale. The opportunity to positively impact the lives and careers of over 8,000 employees has been incredibly rewarding. Moving forward, I am committed to leveraging the lessons learned to further enhance our HR practices and contribute to our organization's continued success. In conclusion, managing 8,000+ staff as an HR Manager has been a journey of challenges, growth, and fulfillment. Through strategic planning, effective communication, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion, we have created a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. I am grateful for this transformative experience and look forward to continued growth and development

𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 Here is the first of the business cases that showcase my expertise in identifying game-changing leaders for global players 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗥 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 Picture a state-of-the-art industrial plant in France: machinery humming harmoniously, digital interfaces blinking, and a team of professionals overseeing the seamless operations. However, beneath this veneer of productivity & efficiency, there's a palpable tension. The echoes of recent strikes linger; there is a pressing need to rebuild trust and foster a lasting culture of collaboration. The Challenge: Our multinational client grappled with a twofold issue. Firstly, the plant’s location. in a structurally weak region meant a sparse local talent pool. Secondly, in the industrial milieu of France, many HR Directors often resort to confrontational tactics, trying to overpower unions, which inevitably leads to strikes and heightened tensions. Our client sought a different approach. They were not merely looking for an HR Manager well-versed in plant HR management. They sought someone adept at navigating the nuanced intricacies of labor relations—a beacon of positive change, not just an HR administrator. The Strategy: i targeted HR Leaders across France, giving special attention to those in organizations with comparable production structures in terms of shift dynamics and headcount. Recognizing the paramount importance of the right social skills, the search was refined to HR managers from firms that championed a corporate culture emphasizing local empowerment and transparency—especially those that had successfully navigated similar challenges. The Outcome: After an extensive search and a rigorous vetting process, the ideal candidate was unearthed. This individual wasn't just equipped with the necessary HR expertise but had a proven history of mending fences in challenging contexts. With their onboarding, the plant gained more than just an HR manager; they secured a bridge builder.

Expert HR Interview Coach | Specializing in Transforming Mid-Level HR Professionals into Top Candidates for Snr Level HR Roles | Strategic HR Interview Preparation and HR Career Advancement
Behind every flopped HR Initiative… …is an HR Leader who dropped the ball on quantity and quality of stakeholder engagement. I know that you probably know this intellectually, but it becomes a lot harder when you are a new HR leader trying to deliver on strategic initiatives in a new work environment. The truth is yes you got the job after a rigorous interview process, but that was with the hiring and leadership team. The rest of the workforce , they don’t know you yet , they don’t trust you yet, and they need to in order to support these initiatives to succeed. I have one key insight to share with you . Show how much you care… Yes, you read that right ! Show how much you care about the wider impact of the initiative on the workforce, beyond meeting your HR metrics . Yes I know you are hired to do a specific set of things and your KPIs are very clear, plus not to forget you are on the clock about some of these initiatives, but can you pause and and allow people to see how much you really care and that show how you feel about this technique allows people to see who you are beyond your title as head of HR , it allows them to see how much you really care about making this better for everyone. While that is by no means a silver bullet it will win the right people to your side and start off on the journey to building trust. When you were a new HR leader in your role, how did you build trust? I would like to hear your thoughts and check first comment to see how I can help you.
