Today I noticed something interesting, the observation was of two distinct ways of selling high-value products. In this I’m taking the example of wholesalers selling Kanchipuram sarees: 1. The slow and steady approach: This involves wholesalers showcasing their products one by one, allowing ample time for consideration, and as a customer you take better decisions after considering the product fit. 2. The fast-paced approach: Conversely this involves wholesalers rapidly piling up sarees, creating a sense of confusion and potentially resulting in larger unintended purchases, by the customer. What do you think, is it something that can only work when dealing with wholesalers or do retail stores also do this? Would love to know your perspective.
