🌈 Celebrating Pride Month at Smith+Nephew 🌈 This Pride Month, Smith+Nephew was a vibrant tapestry of learning, sharing, and celebrating our commitment to inclusivity and diversity. Our series of events were not only educational but also a testament to the supportive and inclusive culture we are building together. Here’s a glimpse of what we experienced: 📚 Educational Trainings: We were privileged to partner with Kultura Równości for two insightful trainings: LGBT+ Introductory: A comprehensive session that laid the groundwork for understanding the LGBT+ community. Coming Out in a Company: An impactful discussion on the importance and challenges of coming out in a professional environment. 🎤 Inspiring Conversations: A heartfelt chat with one of our colleagues who shared their personal journey as a member of the LGBT+ community. Their story was a powerful reminder of the importance of acceptance and support within our workplace. Tommie Gooding you are amazing! Thank you very much for participating 💜 🍕 Pizza Lunch and Quiz: We also enjoyed a delightful pizza lunch organized by e-club and PRIDE Group, which featured a fun and engaging quiz about the LGBT+ community. It was a wonderful way to bond, learn, and celebrate our diversity. 🤝 Collaborative Efforts: In collaboration with our Learning & Development team, we shared educational posts about the LGBT+ community on Teams once a week. These posts were instrumental in fostering continuous learning and awareness throughout the month. The entire month was a beautiful blend of education, empathy, and enjoyment. It was heartwarming to see our colleagues come together, support one another, and foster an environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
