Now, most of you might be familiar with the term, but for those who have no idea about Google Discover, let me give you an idea, (See Image ) ⬅ It is a place of personalized content feed (news, videos, stories, etc.) that appears on mobile devices. It displays the content according to the users' interests and online behaviors. The platform uses the user's browsing history, location, and other points to create a user discovery feed. 🖇 In the following image, you can see the feed content regarding UPSC. I often get asked: "Which platform is the best to make content on?" The better question is actually this: "Which platform gives the highest effective return per unit of time exerted onto it?" The answer is YouTube. Let me explain why: Reason #1: Parasocial Relationships It is more probable that somebody will pay you money if they know/like/trust you, compared to if they don't. Therefore, we should be maximizing how many people know/like/trust us at all times. The quickest way to do this is in person, face-to-face. However, that doesn't scale, so the next step down is via video. And the most scalable way to get people to watch a video of you is by posting it on YouTube and SEO ranking it on a specific keyword or long tail keyword. Reason #2: You Get Infinite Traffic I have a video on my YouTube channel that I posted two years ago that is getting around 50-100 views every day. The people watching are clicking links, buying, and booking calls with my company. And I am doing precisely zero work at all. I just had to film it one time, and it gets me traffic forever. Now imagine stacking up 100 of these. It's easy to see just how profound this becomes over a long time period. Reason #3: It's Cheap & Easy You don't need high production quality videos. Many of the videos I post are screenshare videos teaching a specific topic tend to perform the best for me over the long run. No high levels of product: just pure & raw value being as useful as possible.
