Alright, a little self-promoting here... This has been coming to a head for years, and is time to finally work up the courage to act. There are 2 great passions that I've learned I have in the past 5 years: 1. My kids 2. Quality Entertainment Now, when I say quality I don't necessarily mean 'well done' or 'expensive'. I primarily mean a higher quality morally, or a higher standard. My generation is being identified by our content, our output. Our lives can easily be on display, and future generations will look back and see our contributions as positive, or negative. So I'm choosing to create positivity, and adding to a world where my kids can be comforted and find joy in my actions. How? I started a very basic YouTube channel, "Goodnight Gophers", children's stories narrated by me. These are some of my girl's favorite night time books, so to both provide them a copy of dad reading to them, as well as a source of positive content for other children to safely calm down before bed, this is my next project. I've been excited to learn lately about editing content for my FT job, and am grateful for my support personally and professionally. If anyone has favorite children's books they grew up with, or want to recommend one so you're kids (or grandkids) can hear their favorites even if you're not around, shoot me a message, OR send me a copy of the book.
