Service is an investment. Not just for the client or organization, but first and foremost for the individual privileged enough to be providing the service.
This is the magic of service that Louie experienced and taught while at the Disney Institute. And it is something we can easily overlook, especially if we are dealing with challenging customers. But if you lead every service action knowing that it is an investment in your growth, you will always come out ahead.
When you aim to be a service star, you can’t help but build strength every time you act.

I’ve always taken the idea of shared values with a pinch of salt - not because it isn’t a noble idea but because it over simplifies the oneness of an organization through a common denominator calls #Values.
In many cases, values may sometimes be nothing more than simple laws of nature but in many other cases, tbey just may be a forced attempt to create a common denominator to drive a common #culture
Yet, there is something about shared values when done right ✅ has a #magical quality of bringing folks together in a manner that’s tends to stick…
That tends to happen when:
✅Organisations are able to successfully bring out a supposedly theoretical construct out in the “real world”
✅When the focus shifts from just talking about it to helping employees see what it means to them in context of what they do
✅When everything from communication to recognition consistently calls out behaviours that are considered “valuable”
✅When the idea is not a mere fad. What that means is that values tend to evolve with stories, anecdotes, tradition and examples. And all of these take time to evolve. The idea is to stick with it..
For us Trident Group India, values and the philosophy that we believe is consciously embedded in everything that we do.
And then, every year at this time we have a dedicated week that culminates into what we honour as #Values#Day - A day where members are #rewarded and #recognised for going over and beyond to live the values in a manner that makes the most sense to them..
A demonstrated value has an altogether different meaning that just a stated one…
And that’s what creates the #ONENESS and becomes a part of who we are!

We are called to extend love, grace, forgiveness, kindness and compassion to others- Those are the true attributes of leadership 🙏🏼🙏🏼
The fruit - It leads to tremendous loyalty from your employees and those you encounter 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

🔹 Mission - Know what your life mission is.
Another principle is based on Mathew 5:41:
“And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.”
Always do more than what’s expected of you, go above and beyond 🚀
Loved this as I’ve always been taught to do this, but never realized it was based out of this Biblical verse 💡
His closing principle:
“We all need to live a purpose driven life.
