Increasing attention to workplace diversity has created a new vernacular which includes buzzwords used to describe employers’ responsibilities for creating workplaces that recognize and appreciate diversity among its employees. Inclusiveness is one such buzzword. Employers have a responsibility to practice – not just advertise –inclusiveness. Practicing inclusiveness means taking inventory of all the talents, skills and qualifications within the workplace and using them for a two-fold purpose: Give employees with diverse talents the opportunity to showcase their skills and improve the company’s appeal to a larger market through utilizing those diverse talents. My thoughts on Workplace INCLUSIVENESS: An inclusive workplace is a work environment that makes every employee(managers/Non managers) feel valued while also acknowledging their differences/diversity and how these differences/diversity contribute to the organization’s culture and business outcomes. An inclusive workplace is characterized by affirmative action, and any impact of bias/discrimination/unequal opportunity is negated. An inclusive workplace celebrates diversity and its role in the organizational fabric.

Creating a workplace culture of diversity, respect, and understanding is crucial to recruit a qualified and diverse talent pool. But, it's not enough to just hire diverse candidates. Inclusion is equally important. Employees should feel embraced and empowered to engage with their company and coworkers. We believe in creating a culture of diversity, inclusion, and engagement where everyone participates and strives to hit the same company goals. #diversityandinclusion #workplaceculture #employeeengagement
