September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 👶 Childhood Cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease for children under the age of 14. Around 80% of all child cancer cases globally occur in low and middle-income countries yet fewer than a third of children are diagnosed in these countries and of those that are treated less than 20% survive. Child cancer is highly curable with survival rates of around 80% in developed countries. Childhood Cancer Awareness month is a campaign to express support for children and adolescents with cancer, the survivors, and their families. #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth #Sept2023 #SeparationScientific #SepSci
