Good vision is a key factor for living a healthy, happy life.

Too good to be true … If you reverse the words, you will discover something. Truly good. We have a way of thinking and that is partly connected to our experience and perspective especially from a young age. It can be complicated and confusing this life if we do not understand our limited beliefs, interpretations, assumptions, inner critic which will drive your decisions. Being open and honest, will free you from the baggage 🧳 My advice is to embrace the highs and lows because it allows you to recognize and learn about yourself. My suggestion is to observe the lows and tell yourself a new story of its importance instead of feeling confused. My recommendation is that who you surround yourself with, what you read and feed your mind, body & soul is the nourishment for growth. DO NOT ENTER is your sign to stop and take a step/thought/action in a direction towards happiness or peace. We don’t know how good we got it especially when it’s truly good. HAPPY DAY to all of you! Thank you all for being wonderful humans that have supported me and opened themselves up to the changes I and others bring into the world. We are all beautiful and unique beings and without each one of us, the other doesn’t exist. Each day, I will celebrate and appreciate your beautiful life and energy by being the best human I can be. This is how real change happens in this world. The beauty is once we unlock this power within, the outside world will reflect and receive it. The more we use it and embody it, the more powerful it becomes and the bigger its wave. Upon reflection of today, I am choosing to celebrate another beautiful moment on this earth by sharing this reflection: How are you enabling the most value with your resources? A company is similar to a bunch of cogs (gears) working together to deliver a vision. Are you taking care of the “machine” so it takes care of you? Can the process be simplified? When I walk through the stores nowadays, I am amazed by the number of products for each category. The amount of effort that goes into each product from conception to consumer is huge. Is everything you are doing and putting into the product adding value (supporting you and your customers to be healthier, happier, and more resource efficient and abundant)? What we create is what we receive. Each one of these products comes with a sizable footprint. From conception and maintenance energy (hiring, training, development, investment, regulatory, documentation, sales, marketing, certifications) to ingredient and packaging supplies and storage, to spare parts and storage, to final product staging, warehousing, and distribution, and the sustainability opportunities that exist within each one of these stages. How much food is tied up S/C? Each time a new or enhanced product hits the shelf, it impacts all the other products in some way (from conception to acceptance). ✨ How efficient is your company’s machine currently? Are stakeholders part of your product and project rationalization process? What is the impact of your product or project on the world? I’ve witnessed that the “right” decision is the one that ensures a sustainable foot print. It is also the one that maximizes profit and creates a healthy work environment. Each decision within a company has a ripple effect on every other person. Are you aligning yourself to your company’s vision and goals with each breath? Sometimes this includes a regeneration period. When you invest in making the “machine” run, it runs itself and you can redirect resources to creating “new”. Have you ever tried adapting a machine when it needs some TLC (putting a brand new modification when the machine needs cleaning, alignment, and/or replacement of wear parts)? This can be correlated to new products or packaging. A strong vision, strategy, transparency, and aligned action board is a beautiful way to create a path for creating a well oiled “machine”.

Dear Esteemed Individuals, I hope this message finds you well. I write to you today not with criticism, but with a heartfelt concern and a sincere appeal. In our society, it's all too easy to be swayed by the allure of material wealth and the status symbols that come with it. Luxury cars, designer clothes, and lavish homes can indeed be captivating and offer a sense of accomplishment. However, amidst the pursuit of these tangible assets, it's crucial not to overlook the most invaluable asset of all: your health. Health is the cornerstone of a fulfilling and prosperous life. It is the foundation upon which all other successes are built. Without it, even the grandest achievements can lose their luster. Investing in your health means prioritizing regular exercise, a balanced diet, mental well-being, and preventive care. These are not just expenditures, but vital investments that yield the highest returns in terms of longevity, quality of life, and true happiness. Consider the time and resources dedicated to acquiring and maintaining material possessions. Now imagine channeling a fraction of that effort into nurturing your physical and mental well-being. The benefits are immeasurable. A healthy body and mind enable you to enjoy your wealth and successes to the fullest. They empower you to engage more deeply with your passions, loved ones, and the world around you. In the grand tapestry of life, material possessions can provide comfort and joy, but they are fleeting. Health, on the other hand, is enduring. It sustains you, supports you, and allows you to savor every moment. By investing in your health, you are not just adding years to your life, but life to your years. I urge you to reflect on this and consider rebalancing your priorities. Let your investments in health be as significant and deliberate as those in material wealth. I hope you all recognize yourself, as I realize that I had the privilege to meet so many of you in many different domains and roles. Whether we met solving challenges around ambulatory monitoring and diagnostics, remote patient management, virtual care, digital health, collaborative care, pain management, mental vitality, personal health, cardio/heart health, blood pressure management, sleep, healthy nutrition, body composition, relationship care, top sport innovation, mobile display systems, employees engagement, or any other topic I forgot to mention, THANK YOU!! You really made the journey to improve the life of people, patients, and professionals, extremely satisfying and fully worth it for me! ➡ Thank you HealthTechXL! I also wish to mention that more recently, I had the privilege to be part of the HealthTechXL Venture building program (set up in partnership between the Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM) and HighTechXL). I supported for about 6 months a very promising spin-off proposition, helping the start-up team pass the first 2 gates of the program. It allowed me to learn more about venturing, entrepreneurship, and mainly about myself. So a big thank to the HealthTechXL team, as joining the program has been one of the best possible ways to make use of my garden leave. ➡ What’s next? Full with these great memories, experiences and learnings, I am excited and ready for my next step. As many know, the last few months, I have been busy setting up a consultancy company. 💡A day focused on the world of Artificial Intelligence and new technologies! I had the opportunity to explore different perspectives on this fascinating topic, from 'The Agenda of the Digital Marketing Manager to the Age of AI' by Marketing Arena Spa, to 'Creativity in the Digital World' with Canva. These talks illustrated the potential of AI in different career fields and how we can use it to support and improve our own professional work. Thanks to #BiDigital23 for such an inspiring day!
