If it's already considered a "best practice" in B2B SaaS (#PLG or not), its probably not going to significantly move the needle for you as a start up or scale up. Especially in the early days, it's best to focus energy and efforts on 1-2 bets you think will give you the edge and not checking boxes.

It all comes down to value 📊 That's a key takeaway from Paddle's latest "State of B2B SaaS Pricing 2023" report. In the world of SaaS, understanding the true value your product brings to your customers is crucial. The report shows that more mature companies are increasingly adopting value-based pricing, aligning their prices with the value they provide. Interestingly, it's not just the big orgs who can benefit from this strategy. Even small companies with $1M ARR can leverage the power of value-based pricing, without needing a massive in-house team. Or as Paddle nicely formulated it: "But value-based pricing is powerful and shouldn’t be reserved for big business. Even companies as small as $1M ARR should be able to execute this without having to resource a giant in-house team."
